POV. Alexander I run out of the cafeteria doors after my mate. But once I reached the woods I couldn't smell her any longer, it's like she just disappeared into thin air. It felt like we were out in the woods all day but it had only been hours. All the while hearing his master explain their story. “In the beginning, they were harmless creatures; then humans found their hiding spots. That’s when the horrid experiments started on them. They were injected with the blood of the Kraken but reacted badly to it. They became too powerful for the humans to control so they just let them run rampant. These creatures have lost their sense of judgment and need to be punished. So just enjoy yourself, Drake.” Drake does enjoy himself greatly and within a few minutes completely decimates the Whitlock boss along with his lackeys. Drake then changes back to his human form and jumps up to stand next to Angel.

If he was admitting to me that he found some letters, then maybe he didn’t want to keep the letters a secret from me. “What letters?” I asked, even though I had a bad feeling about it. It felt as if something was lodged in my throat and I had no strength to swallow it. “My father exchanged letters with the former Alpha King and Luna Queen,” he announced, causing my eyebrows to shoot up. The werewolves were all guided and led by two of the most superior people over us after the moon goddess, the alpha king and the luna queen. She sat down on the bed and brought out a book from under her pillow, and then glanced back at Storm with a n unreadable expression. “Why are your eyes purple?” She whispered, clutching the book to her chest. Storm frowned at the question. “Genetics” She replied with a shrug although she knew it was deeper than that. She actually never knew the real meaning behind her eyes. It has an ornate metal clasp on the front which locks the pages giving the illusion of it being a box. I run my fingers over the clasp and it clicks open. I feel my wolf push to the front of my mind but I'm so engrossed in the book I hardly even notice. I open the cover carefully and look at it. On the inscription page is some writing and a hand drawn picture of a wolf in black ink. I read the inscription out loud. 'Journal of Lycius 1800AD' "Where does it say that?"
