Please hear me. Having put everything back to normal and set the tray next to the door, I huddled under the covers, pressing my palm into a wad of sheets so I would feel the pain and not fall asleep. But it felt so nice to be full, and soon I was having tea with my mother, who was dressed as the Red Queen. Kiernan was the Mad Tatter, Sylas the March Fox and Bruce was the Dormouse, cowering behind a teapot. I knew I'd been invited there, but they all kept yelling at me: No room! There's no room! And when I pointed out that there was plenty of room, my mother yelled Off with her head! And the world spun as my head rolled.

Tomorrow is our day to clear the floors ...” The girls stood up and dressed up as mummies in those blankets, went down into the attic bedroom. The window made a terrible creaking noise, like a train that had to brake urgently, when Miss Edwards opened it. “Do you want the witch to come?” Dorothy frowned whispering. The two girls came down to the room that was too crowded. Without turning on the light, Dorothy closed the window more carefully than it was opened, very slowly, then she removed the thick woollen blankets and lay down to sleep.

*Flashback* I stand to the side and watch as the witch sniffs the air and calls Desirey an imposter. The pure joy my dragon and I feel as she makes her drop to her knees. Then she does something strange, she walks up, slips a glove off and touches a finger to Desirey’s forehead. The witch’s head snaps back and her eyes glow even whiter than normal. It’s only a split second but I watch as she removes her hand, says something in her ancient tongue and I see them all blink before she slips that glove on and walks away with Bjorn chasing her like a love sick puppy.

So I ended up telling her about Lily, Selene and Aurora. “So there’s still one of them roaming free in the castle?” she cried. “Remember the girl who brought us tea the other day?” “That’s why she stared at you like that!” “I’m afraid so.” In the afternoon, she helped me sit by the window with one of the books she’d brought, and told me to open it while she fetched the chest with my brushes and ribbons. I didn’t try to get the scene behind my eyes like I usually try to, I let it play again this time, relieving when the kiss happened, sleep welcomed me without me knowing. I saw a wolf, a huge black wolf. I looked around trying to figure out where I was but all I could see was a maze of trees, my heart thundered. The wolf standing a few feet away from me it didn't look like it was a normal wolf, it was more compared to the a wolf. It had black furs and long sharp pointed canine that looked sharp enough to rip iron apart. It stared at me like a predator stalking its prey, waiting for the perfect moment to lunge.

The hiding of the clan, however, is the real horror of this world I now live in. The Blackclaw clan hides in the space between worlds, or so I’ve eavesdropped/heard Krono explain one time. On one side, the clan borders the dark forest of a world full of monsters. It is said that the dark forest hides vampires, extinct in be human world, witches and warlocks like Krono, and other human myths come to life. It is said that Lorez found a magical stone that teleported him to this world, where he first met Krono. From there, the tyranny that is Blackclaw began.

But I pushed on, fueled by the image of my children's faces, knowing that I had to rescue them from the clutches of the malevolent witch. As I turned a corner, I found myself in a vast chamber, dimly illuminated by an array of candles. In the center of the room stood the witch, her black cloak billowing around her like a shadowy cloud. She was chanting in a language I couldn't understand, the sinister words echoing through the chamber.

He could not go back to his own home, so he went to a strange village, and employed himself in keeping sheep. Many times, he walked round and round as near to the hated castle as he dared to go, but all in vain; he heard or saw nothing of Solina. At last he dreamt one night that he found a beautiful purple flower, and that in the middle of it lay a costly pearl. In his dream, he dreamt that he plucked the flower, and went with it in his hand into the castle, and that everything he touched with it was freed from the old witch's spell, and that there he found his Solina again.
