Lovie’s face turned pale.

“But you’re right about one thing,” I acknowledged, meeting her blue eyes. “Loren has nowhere else to go and no one will accept a cripple like her.”
I took off my suit jacket, “She begged for my love for seven long years, there's no way she could move on so soon.”
“You almost got me there, Loren,” I scoffed, “but now I can see through your act.”
This was just another attempt to make me jealous. She probably hired some random actor to play the role.
