Twice was no coincidence. “Understood, Alpha." I stopped walking and faced him, the dim light casting shadows across his face. “Don’t fail me, Draven.” “I won’t,” he replied without hesitation. With that, I dismissed him, watching as he turned and left without another word. I trusted Draven implicitly, but even trust had its limits. And right now, I can't afford any mistakes.
