The Man In The Iron Mask Novels & Stories

THE MAN IN YELLOW

Inside that locked chamber, Elizabeth sat unmoving, tied to a steel chair in the center of the room, dimly lit by a single overhead bulb that flickered every few seconds. Her face was pale. Her lips, dry and trembling. Dried tears crusted her lashes. She hadn’t spoken in hours. Because she was no longer afraid. She was numb. The door at the far end of the room creaked open, the heavy sound of boots thudding slowly against concrete. Not rushed. Not nervous. Each step deliberate—like a man approaching something he already owned. The masked man. He stepped forward out of the shadow. His tall frame covered in all black, from the turtleneck to his gloves. But the most haunting thing of all was th

“Rosa…" Footsteps neared. Boots. Heavy. Purposeful. A figure entered the room, shadowed and silent, face obscured by a tactical mask. He crouched low, examined Lorenzo’s state like a butcher studying livestock. “Still breathing,” the man murmured in accented English. “You Morelli bastards are hard to kill.” Lorenzo spat blood and smiled faintly. “You’ll wish you tried harder.” The masked man chuckled. “You’re bait now. Enjoy the wait.” And then he was gone.

"No. That's a lie! Jamie would never abandon me! You're lying to me! Or... or the half-hour isn't up yet!" He didn't argue. Instead, he reached out and ripped the blindfold from her eyes. Harsh light seared her vision. She flinched, blinking rapidly until the room came into focus. Before her was a tall, broad-shouldered man in an impeccably tailored suit, his face hidden behind a grotesque bronze mask, his voice still distorted by a modulator. His every movement was fluid, controlled—this was no common thug. But she still had no idea who he was.

"You better start talking before things get worse for you." In a quick and smooth movement, Valle showed a hand with sharp claws that shimmered in the dim light of the street. The man’s brave attitude quickly faded, replaced by fear. His face turned pale, and his voice shook as he began to talk. "I swear, I don’t know much!" he exclaimed. "The woman always wears a mask when she meets me. She just told me to follow that woman and tell her everything I saw." Valle listened closely as the man spoke, his claws going back to normal as he absorbed the information. The man’s words suggested there was something much bigger going on, something Valle needed to find out.

“It’s a coincidence,” the man standing across from her said indifferently. He wore a black mask. Although it only showed his jaw and chin, he appeared cold and aloof. Those dark eyes did not hold any warmth in them either. Ivanka saw him and the people behind him put away their guns. “You think I’d believe that?” Ivanka scoffed at once. If he showed up alone and said it was a coincidence, she would have believed him. But this man brought his men and dealt with those who were trying to kill her. He was ruthless and decisive.

A man's face filled it. He was heavy and soft and fifty years old, with a round, pleasant face and a thin black mustache, and he sat in a high white chair in a room with no windows. Over his shoulders hung a long coat sewn from black feathers, shining like oil. Rings glittered on every finger. When he smiled, his teeth flashed gold, every one of them, and Isabella knew at once that she had seen that smile on a dying man in the back of an armored truck.

I stumbled on something or………. So I thought but no it was someone.closing my eyes ,expecting to fall, but I didn’t instead I felt a strong arms pulling me close .curious to know ,who didn’t freak out due to my ugliness, I opened my eyes and saw him. THE MASK GUY that doesn’t associate himself with anyone.he likes been alone just like me but the difference is that he hates people associating with him he usually shun them to stay away from him but me ,no one wants to come close to where I am .

Even the day he drove me back to the mansion from school felt different now. “Those bastards had always been keeping tabs on me,” I mumbled angrily. My finger kept swiping until I reached the last picture. “And who’s this man?” I asked Romy, pointing at the screen. The man’s face wasn’t visible. He stood facing Matthew and Mary while their backs leaned against Matthew’s truck. The mysterious guy had his back to the camera. A nose mask hung loosely over one ear. “That’s the man I told you about,” Romy said before taking a sip of her soft drink. “I couldn’t get his face no matter how hard I tried. He wore dark shades and that mask. He looked… powerful. Like someone important.”

The bathroom door opened. The familiar alpha’s strong scent reached me before I even turned around. My lungs pulled it in instinctively, and my entire body locked up. My hands trembled against the floor as I turned my head. The Masked Man stood beside the bathroom doorway, shirtless with only a pair of briefs covering his lower body. The iron mask was still fixed over his face, hiding everything except his eyes which were still not easy to spot their colors. A dark tattoo stretched across his chest, disappearing beneath the waistband of his briefs.
