"Kristin answer me!" Made...lyn.... You...kil..lled..mmme... The whisper grows higher and higher as we walk longer and longer. My muscles stained, I blink less. I try to concentrate but hard to focus my body going weaker I collapse the entire vision in front of me darkened. Madelyn..nn... Yoouuu...kill..lled...mme... The whispers were the last thing that I could hear before I go into the deep darkness of unconsciousness.

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

I cry in pain as it claws its way up my legs. My vision begins to dim, and my head feels hazy. Lethargy makes my limbs. Sluggish, I try to shake off the feeling and strain to release myself from the mist’s hold. But I can feel the little bit of energy I have left wane. Giving it one last try, I manage to break from its hold and fall forward on my hands and knees before I rise clumsily. The heavy mist threateningly follows my clumsy footsteps. As quickly as I can, I turn back to where I think the apartment is and stagger home. I feel like I’m drunk as I stumble away from the mist. My feet feel heavy and weigh me down as if I’m wading through quicksand. I look back again in exhaustion, but the

MISTAKEN

MISTAKEN

Whether it was all the wine she had downed on at the party or the effect of bumping her head badly on her table, she knew she was seeing someone she shouldn’t be seeing. But since she was already seeing things, just for her sanity, she might as well end things in the way she wished she had ended her last meeting with the person she loved. So she grabs the shirt of the figure in front of her and pulls his face to her eye level, slowly kissing him on his cold and soft lips. “I’m sorry, Josh,” Anna says as she slowly loses her consciousness, feeling the tight grip of someone's arm around her waist before she finally closed her eyes.

she slowly turned her head to the person sitting on the bed beside her head. "He's gone, isn't he?" He slowly asked and Harriet nodded as her eyes suddenly turned glassy. "We couldn't find his body" Mystique slowly nodded and adverted his back to the ceiling. "Is it over?" she voiced out. Impossible!!! It couldn't end like this!

So far, am really really enjoying myself while reading this book and Damien really makes my insides turn and twist in a good way. I'm really loving the characters especially Bell and Damien, Mystique is a little bit too slow but am sure in time she'll rise up as the main character

Fake vs Fated

Fake vs Fated

His eyes lock with mine as he seems to whisper, “I’m sorry.” His eyes then close, and so do mine as I am surrounded by darkness. When I wake, I am in my bed. I would have thought it was a dream if my neck wasn't killing me and shooting pain up and then down my shoulder. I sit up and lift my hand to my mark as Misty whimpers in my head, “We didn’t complete the remarking… We need to complete the remarking, or we will lose him…” “Misty? What are you talking about?”

Anabel Knight's Redemption

Anabel Knight's Redemption

“I have a bad feeling this isn’t going to go the way we want it to.” “Well we can only try right?” Misty said getting up from the table. “Before you go I want to give you something so you can give to Anabel. It might help her remember me.” She said following Carlos out into the living room. “Come with me to my room, it’s in there.” She said walking to her room, Carlos followed her. “Here.” Misty said pulling a medallion off her night table. “I know you’re not going to know what this means, but if Anabel is in her own mind, she will know exactly what this is.” She said handing it to him.

My Blind Princess

My Blind Princess

Misty yelled once again. It was now that Eva had sat up and realized she forgot to tell Alana not to tell her mother that her father had started a war for beating up the prince. Eva sighed and pulled the pillow onto her head once again when she heard another crash and a few curse words escape the lips of her mother. Misty was going to kill Antonio. She had been watching a lot of true crime shows recently and knew the perfect way to dispose of his body. If there isn't a body then it's just a missing person report and not murder.

ADA PRIDE OF ALAOCHA (BK 1)

She only could sense movement as they swerved from one side of the mist to the other. “Let’s kill her,” She heard another voice say. Laughter circled the air. Somewhere in the distance, an Owl was hooting. Ada noticed another movement, then another, and another. The mist kept swerving until it divided into smaller groups. It was too numerous to count. “No killing,” A deep voice roared and every mist disintegrated into a thin air. “Foolish fairy. Don’t you know she is the one that would liberate us?”

Love Ends With Betrayal

Love Ends With Betrayal

He asked me not to be so paranoid and petty. It was the first time he and I had a cold war. It lasted for a whole month and ended with him giving in to me. He promised to stop favoring Ruby and to keep his distance from her. However, it still bothered me. Ruby's existence was like a sword hanging over my head, and it had finally fallen! Coming back to my senses from the memories, I wiped the tears from the corners of my eyes and pondered, 'This is a good thing. Be decisive. I will never be hurt by love again. I will be my parents' little princess again once I return to the prairie.'

Mga Madalas Itanong

The ending of Stephen King's 'The Mist' is one of those gut-punch moments that sticks with you long after you close the book. After surviving horrors in the supermarket and braving the mist-filled outside world, David Drayton and his small group of survivors drive as far as they can, only to run out of gas. Trapped in the car with no hope left, they make a horrific decision—David uses his last bullet to mercy-kill everyone, including his young son. But the twist? Seconds later, the military arrives, clearing the mist. It’s brutal irony at its finest, leaving you questioning every survival instinct.

King’s ending is deliberately ambiguous, refusing to spoon-feed hope. Unlike the film’s more cinematic (and divisive) twist, the book lingers on the psychological toll. The military’s arrival feels almost like a cruel joke, emphasizing how close they were to rescue. It’s classic King—unflinching and messy, forcing readers to sit with the weight of despair. What gets me is how it mirrors real-life moral dilemmas: when do you give up? How much suffering is too much? The lack of closure is the point, and it’s why this story haunts me every time I reread it.
