The monster roared in pain, and as her grip got too tight, its neck snapped. “Oops,” she said. She smiled suddenly, then turned to Mammon before the portal completely closed.

I asked. "No, I've been up working on this." He walked over and laid out what looked like a complex diagram on the coffee table. "I cracked it. The array's security system. Full moon night, if you follow this exact sequence, you can shut down my dad’s trap and access the altar safely." We all leaned forward to look at the diagram, which was covered in symbols and arrows and notes in Caius's neat handwriting. "This is insane," Zane said. "How did you even figure this out?"

In the end, it was Wilbur who poisoned the villagers. The original plan was to use the lives of their own people to pressure Mona's mother into revealing the treasure's location. But Mona found a way to treat the illness and even managed to slip out of the village with Cliff to search for medicine. At first, no one paid much attention to Mona and Cliff. Wilbur, working with other villagers secretly bought off by Arnold, focused on capturing Mona's mother instead. They managed to seize her but somehow she escaped. When they couldn't find Mona's mother, they turned their sights on Mona herself, hoping to use her as bait.

The poison would spread through this whole continent, and Dominic would die. “Mom! Look at Purple! What’s happening to her?!” Diana’s cry distracted me from my worries, and I looked down at Purple, who was shaking on my feet. Diana immediately asked her Dad to put her down. She ran towards Purple and carried the puppy in her arms with teary eyes, confused at what was happening to her little pet. I saw Dominic’s face as he frowned, studying what happened to the animal. We both noticed that something weird was happening to it as its purple pupils started to narrow to slits while Purple stared at the wolf head statue at the top of the massive door of the mausoleum.

She picked up a piece of plum and crawled back into the hammock, reaching out a tiny hand. “Randy, I think she wants to thank you,” Lindsay told him. “Make a fist and put it next to her.” Randy made a fist and then looked at Lindsay. He took a deep breath and slowly put it near the little winged monkey. When it was near the monkey, it grabbed it and pulled it toward her. The monkey rubbed its face on it and seemed to kiss it. When it was done, it let go and took a bite of her plum. “That…that...was astonishing. It touched me, and I think it did say thank you in its way,” Randy said excitedly.

The tree is rough and I feel it scratch me a few times but I climb the tree pretty easily. I extend my arm out for my shirt and offer it the apple. The monkey stands staring between the apple and the dress. It tries to snatch the apple without handing me the dress, but I’m ready and snatch the dress from it from its hand. He shrieks at me before deciding that it no longer desires the dress. He takes off, as I climb down the tree. Reluctantly, I head back to the cave.

He picked him up by the neck and threw him out of the mansion. "You're a tiny ant! Not worth my time! Tell the Hart family and the Ellis family that Ol' Mare does not welcome them. They're not to mess with Miss Hardy as well. If they step foot in Ol' Mare, they will be killed!" Then, Alexander threw Monkey over to the van, landing right next to the door. He suffered a terrible fall. Multiple bones of his broke. "G—Gordon…" Monkey struggled to get up but got in the van nonetheless. He started the engine and turned back to look at the mansion. "Dare you leave a name? You killed Gordon, and the Hart family will not let this go!"

Shooting Quinn a glance, Monkey admitted through gritted teeth, "We were just following orders given by Mr. Huey. He said that he'd give us ten grand each if we pretended to be the victim's family and stir up trouble." The crowd was in an uproar after hearing his words. Fury surged through Quinn as she thought to herself, 'Huey Harrigan! You again!' Without waiting for a response from Mandy, Monkey suddenly pointed at the middle-aged woman and said, "I'm not the only one to blame. This woman and the guy next to her are all in it too!" The middle-aged woman, Susan Graham, grimaced at Monkey's words and tried to flee the scene but was caught swiftly after.

Edgar ordered quickly. Elissa frowned. "You brought peanuts?" "Is that question important to answer now?" Elissa immediately searched for the peanuts Edgar had mentioned. After checking in the trunk, she found a bag full of peanuts. Seeing Edgar carrying this many peanuts made Elissa even more astonished by her husband's magical behaviour. Elissa took the peanuts and threw them to the monkeys who were chasing her. Once unsuccessful, twice unsuccessful too, only the third time the throw, one by one the monkeys stopped. They took the peanuts.
