Chapter 50 Jordan POV I walked into the common room with a legal pad tucked under my arm and a fresh hatred for breakfast television. The TV was still on—volume low, captions on—because Elias had apparently decided that if we were going to be publicly set on fire, we should at least have the courtesy of reading the match label. RICO TASK FORCE crawled across the bottom of the screen in thick red letters. The anchor’s face looked way too pleased to be reporting something that could put human beings in cages for the rest of their lives.

She whines walking to the kitchen and returning with her plate of toast. “So what's the plan for today?” I asked after swallowing the last of the toast. “We are watching a movie before you go back home, it’s a series.” “Name of the series and the number of episodes” “Citadel, six episodes. That was the movie I was gushing about then.” She answers and I nod eating as she puts it on. We spent the next four hours watching Citadel with breaks in between. Let’s just say I was never gonna watch any movie that Shayna has already seen alongside her ever!!
