I sighed heavily, understanding that I would never concentrate on my book. “Why did you become a bodyguard?” I asked the question that I’d been holding back since the first day he was introduced as my bodyguard. He turned a page without looking up. “The book in your hands must be boring if you are already searching for conversation,” he said. “I asked a real question, Stefano Morello,” I insisted, my voice firm and clear. “Why this job of all things?” He closed the volume, scoffed once, and shook his head. “To protect people. But it turns out I was not always good at protecting people.”

When will he stop making me feel like I’m about to melt into a pool of just pure embarrassment. I never had a man say those things to me. Before I became the bodyguard, I had a boyfriend – Henry. He was a really sweet and nice guy. But he never made me feel things the way Julian did and it made me crave him more and more. Before I reached the door, he grabbed my hand and placed another kiss on my knuckles. “I know you don’t get the chance to… but I think you look beautiful in dresses.” I walked to my room smiling and clutching his shirt. Julian Anderson. I think I might like you a lot.

"Sure, ma'am but first we have to talk with the boss." God knows what they talk after that they came to me and said I can enjoy my privacy. They will be on the ground floor if I need anything I can ask them. And I'm thankful for that... I decide to watch a movie but a Disney one. So, I chose to see FROZEN 2. I was enjoying the movie when I heard something breaking. What was that? Bodyguards are on the ground floor.... is it a cat or dog? Is it possible to the core?

"Come help me. I can't get his arms off." Still, the guy stood fifteen feet away and refused to come closer. I was furious. "Why are you just standing there?" He said, "I don't want to die." I stared at him. "What's that supposed to mean?" The guy explained he was not the drunk's friend but his bodyguard. His name was Derek Walsh. Eventually, Derek pulled the car over and parked it 15 feet away. He called out to me, "You'll have to figure out how to get him into the car yourself."

“What’s up with you, man? You’ve been staring into space like someone stole your Lamborghini.” I leaned back, trying to play it cool. “My dad hired me a new bodyguard. It’s a girl.” Trent barked out a laugh so loud half the class turned around. “A girl? Bro, you? Mr. I bench press my problems? Is she hot at least?” “She’s not just hot,” I muttered. “She took out five armed guys in under ten seconds. Solo. Like it was nothing. The problem is… I think I’m falling for her.”

“Bodyguard.” Cassian blinked. Then laughed. “Oh, my father must be livid.” Rowan didn’t respond. He wasn’t here to laugh. He was here to protect something or someone that clearly didn’t want to be saved. Cassian dropped the ice and stood, eyes flicking over Rowan’s frame tall, built, black T-shirt stretched over muscle and discipline. “Not bad. At least they sent someone with arms this time.” “Try anything and I break your arm,” Rowan replied.

“Starting today, I’ll be protecting you.” “Excuse me?!” Vivienne was in danger of crushing the ceramic mug between her palms and had to put her hands flat on the table lest she send shards flying into both of their faces. There it was again, that trademark Liam Hardison Efficiency. It had barely been an hour! “A personal bodyguard? What the hell do I need that for? Did something happen?” Then she recalled Liam’s strange behaviour in the office, and her heart leapt to her throat. Had something happened to Liam?

Now, I sat with my friends who talked about less interesting things — a party at a new hotel, boys they've used or found disposable. He still watched, paying more attention to their conversation than I did. I glanced over at him taking in his looks. “Is he your bodyguard? I was wondering why he was standing there,” one of my friends, Rosie, said. I twirled my glass before taking a sip of my wine. I turned to face him. “He is. After my attack, Daddy swore to get me one,” I explained. The girls nodded, their faces awed at such greek- gods giving face.

I should be but I wasn’t. Yeah, it was my first day at work as the personal bodyguard to the famous New York’s most handsome young CEO. As the elevator moved, I braced myself up to face my soon to be boss who was none other than Ryan Robin Anderson. He was popularly called RRA. Classic, huh? I stepped out of the elevation as it stopped. “Hi,” I looked up to see a middle aged man. “You must be the new bodyguard.” He said. I nodded with a smile.

His name read, Colton Martakis, just the sight before her, the bulging muscle and the tattoos that ran all through his body, she felt like he is the perfect guy for the job. Also, she felt her bestfriend would be damn happy, afterall she had chosen a hottie for her as she had earlier requested. She read through his credentials and smiled, "He's the perfect guy for this role", she muttered to herself. She immediately closed the site, so that no one would be able to apply for the position of a personal bodyguard again, since she had made her choice from the thirty-five thousand people that applied for the job, both male and female included.
