THE BILLIONAIRE'S OBSESSION: From player to Father

THE BILLIONAIRE'S OBSESSION: From player to Father

A text from an unknown number. *Dear Dr. Zanetti, I'm Clara Benson, Senior Editor at Meridian Books. I read your thesis abstract online and was incredibly impressed. I'd love to discuss the possibility of publishing it as a monograph. Are you free for a coffee next week?* Keira stared at the screen, her heart hammering. Meridian Books. One of the most respected independent publishers in the UK, known for their beautifully produced academic titles and their commitment to emerging voices. They'd published books she'd cited in her thesis. Books that had shaped her thinking.

The Billionaire Groom (The Hudson Brothers Series 3)

The Billionaire Groom (The Hudson Brothers Series 3)

He wasn’t sure what he was going to watch since he didn’t watch TV that often. **** Beverly was at The N.Y. offices catching up on her email. The N.Y. was a two-year-old news website that put out a hard copy magazine every month. Some people called it a gossip rag. Whatever it was The N.Y. was the most popular online site in New York. The N.Y. was popular for not holding punches and printing anything about anybody newsworthy. Beverly had just made full-time employment. The pay was better than being a temp all over the city, but she still had to watch her pennies. New York was not a cheap city to live in.

Forbidden By Her Sister's Husband

Forbidden By Her Sister's Husband

Her heart, which usually beat with a dull, anxious thud, suddenly kicked into a frantic rhythm. The Radical Review. It was a small, gritty literary journal based in a converted warehouse in Brooklyn. It published avant-garde poetry and essays on urban decay. It had absolutely nothing to do with Cross Industries. It had no board of directors, no stock price, and certainly no connection to Damian Cross. It was a lifeline.

I hope elena's punishment isnt just damian's throat choking. what aria experienced isnt something that can be ignored with just a few threats and neck choking. aria was abused. i hope damian shows that he's really "the worst nightmare" for those who hurt aria, not just empty talk like other MLs
Mel Villanueva
I can’t believe its finish. Aria and Damian’s forever finally reached its end. I am really happy but hurt at the same time because I’ll surely miss them. I hope there are extra chapters though. Hahaha. Thanks for this masterpiece author! Now, looking forward for Sebastian and Viola’s story! Love you

“The conventions I attend are usually so dull compared to all this.” “This is relatively small. You should see the BookExpo America at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. That one is about three times the size, but for your debut, I believe this event is perfect. You’ll have a better opportunity to talk to people who are interested in your book and not just looking for freebies.”

His Book club

His Book club

I called again, moving toward the door but I got no answer. This guy is not only a nerd, he is also weird and somehow crazy. I wonder how I was going to cope with him when I joined his book club. I grabbed my phone off the table and unlocked it. As the screen popped on, messages flooded in. Group chats messages , especially the ones I've muted for a while now. ‘Arian Smith, Orleans College Book Club President, Accused of Misusing Club Funds.’ I blinked, trying to wake myself from the dream. I scrolled down, read it again and it was still the same.

“No. I’ve been working on the rewrites of Legal Briefs all day. I’m not even dressed, why?” “Well, you can forget the rewrite. Peter Williams, the main man from Prelude Press just called and he loves the book.” “Prelude? I’ve never heard of them.” “They’re a small, very exclusive New York House. Started publishing poetry back in the early seventies, expanded to political non-fiction, then opened their fiction department about a year ago. Peter said he mailed your contracts express overnight, so throw some clothes on, or go in your underwear, I don’t care, but get your little ass over to that little post office of yours and pick up your mail.”

Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

The air in the New York Public Library press room was charged, not with the schadenfreude of scandal, but with the excitement of genuine mystery. The invitation itself had been cryptic, with only the image of a stylized ship's wheel merged with a drafting compass and the words: The Roberts-Jones Foundation: A New Horizon. No one knew what to expect. A mea culpa? A retirement statement? A final attempt at rescuing a reputation?

A Cold New Year

A Cold New Year

On New Year’s Eve, Kian Newman never came home. Instead, he had someone deliver a container of frozen ravioli and sent me a single message: "Stay safe this year." I had barely locked the screen when a photo popped up in the company group chat. Isabel Wilkinson, Kian's assistant, had posted it. It was a lavish holiday dinner spread across the table, every dish clearly homemade. The caption read: "Someone spent all day cooking so I could have a taste of home. Love you."

자주 묻는 질문

I recently came across the latest issue of 'The New York Review of Books', and it’s packed with thought-provoking pieces. One standout review dives into the new biography of Sylvia Plath, exploring how it recontextualizes her life and work. The reviewer praises the author for shedding light on Plath’s lesser-known struggles and achievements, offering a fresh perspective on her legacy. Another review examines a novel set in post-war Japan, highlighting its intricate portrayal of cultural identity and memory. The writing is sharp, and the analysis feels deeply personal, making it a compelling read for anyone interested in historical fiction. The issue also includes a critique of a recent political memoir, dissecting its arguments with precision and offering a balanced view of its strengths and flaws.
