Rejected and Banished; The kids are his.

Rejected and Banished; The kids are his.

“This place smells like rotting history.” He said nothing, guiding me deeper into the darkness until we reached the center, where a small shaft of light from a hole above barely illuminated the room. And that’s when I saw it. A coffin. Rough, stone, unlike anything I’d ever seen in real life, more like something out of ancient legends. The edges were cracked. Rusted chains had once bound it shut, now broken and hanging loosely from the corners. Cobwebs blanketed every inch. The sight stole my breath.

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

On top of it rested a stone coffin, wrapped in heavy, rusted iron chains that had held firm for centuries. The metal was black with age, the ancient seals etched into the stone flickering like a dying candle. Inside the darkness of that stone box, something was finally stirring. There was no sound at first, just a heavy, suffocating pressure. Then, a foul, black mist began to swirl violently within the cramped space, pressing against the underside of the lid. It wasn't just smoke; it was an oily, living shadow that pulsed with a rhythmic, heartbeat-like glow, desperate to expand.

I believe I’m about halfway through. This story is amazing, and definitely deserves a lot more notice. I see it’s completed and genuinely hope it is and you didn’t just stop updating it. The characters are great, the back stories to them especially Asher is amazing. Definitely recommend this book!

Hey Readers! I’ve poured my heart into about 80 chapters, yet not a single review. How am I supposed to know if the story is good, worth continuing, or if you’re dropping it halfway? Your feedback motivates me and keeps this story alive. No reviews soon, I’ll take a break and hold back new chapters.

Carefree God of War

Carefree God of War

It was not easy to handle it when the situation became like this now. Warren stared at Thomas, and he coldly said, “Are you purposely humiliating me today?” Thomas chuckled. “I just came to give a present. How did I humiliate you? “Why? Do you find my gift too light?” Thomas swung his hand. “Don't be anxious. After you see the things inside, you won’t find the present light.” Someone immediately came over and lifted the lid of the eight coffins. In every coffin, there was a muscular man inside. Their hands and legs were tied, and their mouths were sealed by black tapes.

The story is fast paced unlike most of the stories. I am thrilled to read each chapter. While the plot is similar with other novels of the same genre, I love the way the author develops each character. I also love it very much that chapters are longer and require less coins to open.

I don't think it is right to just quit from ur title being god of war. You have so much effort and sacrifices just to be in that title. Hardships in life will not end how can you depend your love ones if you are that powerless. Maybe you can leave temporarily but not resigned.

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

Others could tell that the weight of the steel coffin was definitely not light. “Green Dragon and Black Turtle.” At this time, Dalton led some people out of the Alroy’s manor. The duo immediately walked up to greet and saluted Dalton, “Green Dragon meets Senior Mad King.” “Black Turtle greets Senior Mad King.” “You guys don’t have to be so polite.” Dalton waved his hand, and his gaze immediately fell upon the iron coffin carried by the four strong agents. “This must be the Dark Steel Coffin that Old Fox spoke of.” Dalton walked toward the iron coffin and began to caress the surface. “Every inch of it felt as cold as ice.”

The Divine Undertaker

The Divine Undertaker

He had no idea if what the Coffin was saying was true, but now, he had no choice but to trust it! His clan had such high hopes for him—it was only natural that he didn't want to let them down! Hence, he poured everything into the coffin, from the hundred thousand spirit stones to the rest of the Crawfords' gifts. Soon, the coffin echoed with words that would leave all beings shaken to the core. "Within the Coffin of the Gods, devourer of the four seas and anchor of the eight continents, lies a universe of stars and constellations, and yet its fire consumes all eras and the heavens, ever ready to leave all life in cinders…"

Maid To The Three Mafia Kings

Maid To The Three Mafia Kings

“Two coffins.” Gustavo’s eyes flicked up, a grin tugging at his lips. “Coffins? Bring them to my office.” The assistant nodded and slipped out. Gustavo set the ledger down, pulled on his robe, tightened the belt, and strode down the hall, his slippers scuffing the polished floor. The villa was quiet, its high ceilings and marble walls muffling the footsteps of his men patrolling outside. The office, a wide room with a mahogany desk and shelves of leather-bound books, waited at the end of the corridor. Two coffins sat in the center, rough wood stained with streaks of dried blood, their lids scratched and dented.

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Dusty and dark, the size of a coffin, edges bound in metal bands etched with tiny words too small to read. It rose until it sat fully above the sea of paper, long and heavy and unmistakably coffin‑shaped. Except where a coffin would have a lid, this had a cover. Like a book. A book so big it could only have been made to bury someone in. The “cover” creaked, splitting along its spine. The top half lifted a few inches, then a few more pages and paper sliding off it in small avalanches until, with a reluctant crack, it fell open.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

At this moment, the blood-red eyes of the tall beast heads turned into beams of light and rainbows, shooting straight into the coffin. Immediately, the coffin seemed to be soaked in a sea of blood. It became bright red, dazzling, and transparent. As the coffin became transparent, Caspian could immediately see that there was actually a person inside! There was also a sword box about half a person's height beside the man's hand. At this time, just seeing the inside of the coffin, Caspian immediately felt a chill spreading up along the bottom of his feet. The huge scattered sabers, swords, axes, and forks around him seemed to have come alive and began to wriggle.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

When Magic Happens

When Magic Happens

I replied back as I stretched my hands to remove the painting but it didn’t move, instead it slid and revealed a medium sized box. I took the box out and placed it on the desk. It was an old mahogany box with gold engravings on it. “Sinclair” I opened it carefully and revealed a very thick brown greenish book with about 200 pages made of parchment or something like and had the title written on it with big bold handwriting: “BOOK OF SHADOWS” I smiled happily, I couldn’t believe that I had it in my hands and looked at Kevin who was still anxious saying: “We found it” he nodded his head and was about to speak when we suddenly heard an applause behind us.

Zesa: Love on papers

Zesa: Love on papers

A pity. “Are you even listening to me?” I lifted my eyes from the book in my hand. The Mark of Exile. It was the sequel to The Corpse in the Fog—a crime story about a man killing the lover of the woman he desperately wanted. You could say I was taking notes of very effective and interesting ways to kill Zesa’s lover. I’d had enough of him impeding my happiness.

It's a nice story But to be honest I don't like the way how pathetic Zesa's charector is i mean he cheated on her and even have a child with his mistress even though he knew that his mistress is such greedy person but still he did that but Zesa is so desperate that she just forgive him so easily....

Frequently Asked Questions

I stumbled upon 'The Iron Kingdom' during a weekend bookstore crawl, and it immediately caught my eye with its stark, metallic cover. The story unfolds in a steampunk-inspired world where ancient mechanical giants, called 'Iron Sentinels,' are awakening after centuries of slumber. The protagonist, a scrappy tinkerer named Lys, discovers she has a rare ability to communicate with these beings. The book really shines in its exploration of humanity’s relationship with technology—are the Sentinels guardians or threats? The political intrigue between rival factions vying to control them adds layers of tension.

What hooked me was the moral ambiguity. Lys’s journey isn’t just about saving the kingdom; it’s about questioning whether progress should come at the cost of losing what makes us human. The author blends action sequences with quiet moments of reflection, like Lys debating ethics with a Sentinel who remembers the world before industrialization. It’s a hefty read but worth it for the world-building alone—I spent days sketching my own versions of the clockwork cities described.
