“How is he?” “I am feeling positive,” Talen replied reassuringly. “He is a fighter, our mate.” “Yes, he is,” she pressed her lips to Heath’s cheek. “And a winner. He will conquer this and make a very impressive vampire werewolf. What will he be, exactly?” She wondered. “Will he be both, or will being vampire override the werewolf?” “He will be both,” Talen said with certainty. “A hybrid.”

I just looked at his eyes for a moment but why are they so familiar to me, like I already know them well. My lips parted as my tears fell. I thought I had escaped, I thought I was safe but not yet because the man driving this car was none other than Alpha.

The Alpha of the last pack I was in knew about it, and said it might have been because I was a Hybrid that I was able to shift before my 18th birthday. Bella then asked what a Hybrid was and I told her, “A hybrid is a shifter of 2 or more different species of shifter, there are many kinds of shifters in this world. Shifters can be Wolf, Dragon, Pixie, Fae, Fairy, Bear, Lion, Tiger, Jaguar, Swan, Eagle, Hawk, Leopard, Gryffin, Unicorn, Centar, Goose, Lycan, Fox, Coyote, etcetera. For example my mom is a Witch but she is also a Wolf shifter, and my dad is a Dragon shifter. So for myself, I have both the genes of Dragon and Wolf shifter in my DNA and I might get the dragon side, but I might not

Like a thousand hearts beating in the dirt. From the shadows of the trees, the first one emerged. It was ten feet tall. It had the snout of a wolf and the upright posture of a man. Its skin was a sickly, translucent white, and its eyes were glowing red. The hybrids. "Aegis lost control," Elodie whispered, her heart dropping into her shoes. The first hybrid leaped onto an armored SUV, its claws shearing through the metal like it was paper. The screams of the human soldiers began to fill the valley.

“I’m going for the heart of it. The location where this all originated.” Elias’s smirk faded. “You’re referring to the Origin Chamber. I nodded. “That’s because their first experiments were done in there. That’s where they produced the first hybrids. If I could destroy it, maybe they couldn’t make more.” Ethan tensed. "Then I’m going with you." "No," I said firmly. “I need you here, defending my children. If I do fail, they’ll come here next.” Someone needs to be prepared for that.”

The council members exchanged glances, all whispering low until Elder Philip cleared his throat. “We never expected this day to come,” he said slowly. “But it seems history refuses to stay buried.” The room fell silent. Philip looked at Azriel with a heavy expression. “The First Ones… they are not a myth you all thought. They were the strongest males ever born. Five brothers. Pure-blooded shifters. The original alphas. They’re said to be older than most of the world’s packs.” Paige’s breath caught. Philip continued. “They believe hybrids are a stain on creation. A mistake. And they’ve sworn to erase every single hybrid bloodline forever.”

" He said that with a gush of pride stirring my anger. I glared at the Alchemist and questioned," By mutation you mean injecting vampire's blood in the body of a werewolf, right?" He nodded in guilt. Now I think that the attack on the northern territory of Crescent Pack was done by hybrids. It means Noah wanted to test the power of werewolves who were converted into hybrids. " Then what about the inter-breeding experiment between vampire and werewolf?" Alchemist smirked," It's for the birth of new breed ORIGINAL Hybrids. Pure blooded ones who have tremendous amounts of strength and they grow up into adults in a few years after their birth."

So turning to look at the man sitting beside me, I said, "Yes, I am, Chris." The sincerity in my voice might've been proof enough of that for Chris didn't ask me about it further. "Good," he said. "I have informed my beta, Ryan about your new hybrid status so can take the necessary precautions for your security. You're the first of your kind, so it is naturally going to cause a uproar everywhere, some even violent. We need to be prepared for every possibility." "Violent?" I asked, confused. "Why? I haven't done anything wrong!"

She said, "Lena is notorious at the university now. No female werewolves with mates want to be near Lena. After all, a woman who goes around destroying others' relationships as mates is terrible." Annette smiled and said, "Not every mate is as useless as Kyle." Roxanne had not yet found her mate, so she was not yet deeply touched on the subject. Roxanne thought for a few seconds and asked, "Everyone knows that Fiona, the principal, is Kyle's mother. Fiona turned a cold face on such a good werewolf as you. How can she accept Lena? I remember Lena got a C in Fighting Class." "Fiona can't accept who I am. You know that I'm a Hybrid," Annette said and gave a wry smile. Then she continued, "Thoug

We may never know for sure, but because all the hybrids have his DNA, it seems possible that only the hybrids who received King Aolis’ blood, either through their mothers, through the experiments that occurred while they were in utero, or immediately after their birth, survived where the others did not. I guess it makes sense that the hybrids who have his DNA, ended up here in the fae lands. It almost feels like they’ve come full circle to find their true family and happiness. Now that we’ve found the hybrids we know about, I’m home more often. I love spending time with my boys, who, as Hope says, are all Alpha. Over the past six months, Matthan is acting like it’s a race to see which of the
