First Bite
It spiraled outward, lines doubling back on themselves, light and shadow entwined.
Spiraled but layered.
Dual.
And beneath it, carved so faintly it was almost missed:
One Veil sealed.
One Veil is yet to open.
Autumn stood in silence.
A new weight settled in her chest—not fear, not dread. Instead, it was a sense of being called, of standing on the threshold between what she had survived and what she was meant to begin.
