Two months passed like this, and then both Celeste and I laid our eggs at the same time. On the day the eggs were laid, the sky was once again filled with a strange phenomenon. Colors spread across the heavens, and flocks of birds circled above Silvan's estate, chirping in unison. There was no doubt now. Out of the two eggs that Celeste and I had laid, one of them was definitely a Phoenix. I pushed with all my strength until, finally, I laid an egg.
