The Rejected Luna's Rise Novels & Stories

The moment our eyes met, she smiled faintly and somehow that made what I was about to say even harder. “You’re back.” I nodded. “Yes.” She walked toward me. “Did you speak to the council?” I looked away. “Yes.” Her smile slowly disappeared. “What happened?” I placed the letter on the table. Freya picked it up.m and her eyes moved across the page. I watched her expression change. “They rejected the Luna ceremony.” I nodded. “They formally rejected the current Luna Ceremony.” She lowered the document. “Because of everything surrounding the pregnancy.” I looked at her. “They’re afraid of instability.”

My lungs shuddered, and then I completely broke. I slid down the trunk into the mud, pulling my knees to my chest as tears poured down my face. I pressed a trembling hand over my mouth to muffle the sound. There was no one around, but a stubborn part of me still remembered I was a Luna. Lunas did not sob helplessly in the dirt. Lunas did not crawl. Lunas did not beg. Lunas endured. Except... I wasn't a Luna anymore.

The others hesitated. “Next?” she said, brushing dust from her pants. The second warrior snarled and shifted, his gray wolf form charging with brute strength. Evelyn shifted too, her black wolf sleek and fast, and they clashed in a blur of claws and teeth. It didn’t take long—she dodged with ease, slamming him into the ground before pinning him by the throat. When she shifted back, her breathing was even. Controlled. Gasps rippled through the growing crowd. Kendall stepped forward, raising his voice. “This is your Luna. Rejected or not, she is one of us. And she’s not here to beg for forgiveness. She’s here to take back what Damien tried to destroy.”

Hello Wonderful Readers, If you have read my books before, it is such a privilege to have you join me again! If not, thank you so much for giving Pursuing My Rejected Luna a shot! This book is completely stand alone with brand new characters unconnected to my other works. As always with my books, there will be ups and downs, bumps in the road, plenty of spice, and a guaranteed HEA for Skye. But I'll be honest, she may have a bit of a rough time getting there.

Fear hung heavily over the pack. As Rowan's party entered through the gates, people immediately began whispering. "Luna Elsie..." "She's back..." "That's Alpha Rowan..." Many lowered their heads respectfully. Others looked ashamed. They remembered how they had once mocked the girl who couldn't shift. Now she returned as the Luna of the strongest pack on the continent. The palace doors opened before they even reached them. Beta Thomas came rushing down the steps. He looked exhausted. Dark circles framed his eyes. "My Luna."

“We don’t hurt people who haven’t hurt us, especially those who are running away from something and need our help.” I look away, shame creeping up my throat. “You don’t have to tell me what happened,” he adds quickly. “But you don’t have to be afraid either.” I look back at him. His kindness is confusing. I don’t know how to trust it. “I was rejected.” The words burn my tongue. Elian tries his best not to look surprised, but I can see the cracks of sympathy and pity breaking across his face. “I was supposed to become Luna.” I scoff a sad chuckle. “But it turns out I'm not the Luna material for him. He rejected me in front of everyone, and the entire pack watched.”

She laughed as she leaned in again and whispered to my ears. “He just keeping you for now, when the real Luna comes, he'll dispose you.” I felt my chest tighten at her words, “the moon goddess chose me!!” She laughed louder now, “you are nothing but a prawn and a replacement.” She paused and then continued, “when he sees his true mate, he'll leave you..” I staggered backwards. Could this be the reason Kaius has refused to mark me?! Am I a replacement Luna?!

Fear fills every part of my body when my voice sounds like two people speaking, me and a voice I’ve never heard before, a young girl’s voice. “The rejected luna returns to burn her enemies to the ground but the carefully made plans may not fit inside the box she’s prepared. Your choices will have consequences you couldn’t have imagined. You have to make those choices but your revenge will not be straight forward as your choices will come with crossroads, choices and crossroads will determine your revenge. Find me on the alpha’s side, I’m waiting, Luna.” I drop the letter and push myself away from it. “What was that Ida?” “I…don’t know.”

Elena was silent, and now her eyes were glazed over, but her lips did not stop, as if she were challenging, “Just do it; you will never win!” “Never mind, mom. Let's just get out of here, it's useless for our eyes and mouths to be polluted by these two rejected Luna's.” Sofia said with a sardonic look. Camille immediately replied, “Failing to become a Luna does not mean I will fail to expose all your secrets and rottenness in front of all the members of the Shadow Moon pack, they will definitely be shocked by your manipulative attitude, Miss. Elena and Miss. Sofia, honorable!”

Elias roared as he knew she would be asking another question if he did not put an end to this conversation. "I'm the Luna and you have to obey me or you'll be punished for disobedience, you think I'm weak because I'm a woman. I'm the Luna of this pack so accord me with respect, I deserve it" Reyna roars as Elias cackles; "You want to punish me?"
