He hadn't had a normal childhood, so he hadn't heard any fairy tales. "Well, let me enlighten you then," Diana said, taking his hand and explaining, "The Little Mermaid is about a mermaid who falls in love with a human prince. To be with him on land, she goes to a sea witch and exchanges her voice for a pair of human legs..." Diana stopped herself. Why was she telling John such innocent fairy tales? He didn't seem interested! But then, John's voice came softly, "And then what happened to the little mermaid?"

Fighting is what I do best, not marriage or assuming my position of King so soon, but desperate times means desperate measures. Travis pauses before speaking and I'm immediately annoyed by his hesitation. "Spit it out already!" I bark out. He flinches, "Yes sir! Right away sir. Well... erm, there's been a sighting." He stutters out. "A sighing of what?" I ask moving closer to Travis. Ugh it's probably another shark or something. "A ship. A pirate ship. Black and silver sails and a dark wooden body. In.. in Crab Cove." He stammers.

Maybe. “A sea witch is one of the most powerful creatures in the sea,” Shelly explained. “They have the power of three kings combined. Pods were always scared of them and what they might do. Once they were born, they would be put to death. Like there is a King of Kings, there is also a Queen for the sea witches. She has the power to control every body of water and the other sea witches. Many tides ago, the Queen became angry with the cruelty of her people and started killing each King and their Kingdom. Our ancestors said upon her arrival a black fog would consume the area. King Rainard had to make a deal with her to protect everyone. Once the pods left the sea witches alone, she would leave

I was a mermaid and the princess of the deep sea. A hundred years ago, I traded the one thing the merfolk prized most—my ethereal singing voice—with a sea witch in exchange for a pair of legs. From that moment on, I became the woman Silas Walker loved above all others. To prove his love for me, he personally cultivated 1,000 moonlight lilies. The flowers could only bloom when nourished by Alpha blood, and it took him three full years before they finally blossomed.

She fixed it up and made it nice and sat it in her backpack for the clumsy boy she met at Deadmans Bridge. But overall, he's nothing how her mother described him to be. She always told her to stay away from white men because of how dangerous they are, especially to people like Ariel. Ernest wasn't like that all, in fact, he's more of a danger to himself than anyone else, really. Once Ariel finished lotioning down and putting on her clothes, her biggest challenge had come, her hair.

If this had happened years ago, before I rescued Zayn, his child must be at least five years old. Speaking of a child, I still remember the little one with Grandpa. I must see the child before we leave. "Come, Zayn," I wave my magic and have Zayn fully clothed. "Where are we going?" he asked. "To meet with this Merkoff person," I smiled brightly. "Alice, my love, I told you a sorcerer protects him." I waved my hand and opened a portal that led us back to the island. "Like I give a damn about it. You do know I am a red witch and blessed by a dragon. No magic can harm me."

Another man stands and scoffs "Intel has it that she is Medussa, she is a wolf, part angel and mermaid, no one should have that level of power to themselves, by the goddess she is the queen of the sea." "No she's not Chad...to be the queen of the sea, she must have produced offsprings of the Sea and she has not" Chad laughs "Oh Lucinda, we all know you want to be the next queen of the sea so bad but your womb continues to fail you. So...put away your bitterness; the sea throne is not meant for you."

she asked, perhaps to make the scared creature more relaxed. The mermaid slowly lowered her arm, thus revealing her glorious slender face to Theresa who gaped at her in awe. "Gee...you-are-beautiful. I thought you aquatic creatures were mean-ugly fellows who seduce and drag sailors to the bottom of the ocean to die like the tales say." "I'm Maris which means of the sea," her voice was lovely and gentle.
