Romans & histoires The Little Mermaid Fairy Tales

I cleared my throat and looked away. 'I loved the Little mermaid too. It was sad and real, unlike most fairy tales.' What? He likes the little mermaid because it was sad? I hated the story. I read it when I was 8 and I felt really sad for the little mermaid who gave everything up for the prince and she still couldn't have him in the end. I opened my mouth to ask him if he liked it because it was sad but he beat me to it. 'What was your favorites?'

Osprey roost on their chests, furrowed brow contorted with whirlpools, seaweed bangs and shipwreck eyes, oh Atlanta Naiads, oh sweet banks of ruin, my end comes swiftly as the gale endures, envelops, and in the grips of the sirens, I hear a melody like melancholy, like honey crisps, so I let go, dive down, build sand castles to be lovingly eaten away at by foam. The mermaid gives up the ghost and becomes a creature of air, and under her sister’s gaze, I let go of all water weighing me down, become but bubbles, and swim. Tithe Tell me, oh fairy queen, do I fit the narrative? Am I pretty enough? Am I witty enough? Is my skin the dun of a cow?

It seemed I would be the only one paying my respects at this mid-autumn festival. I had not even reached the door when a harsh crash echoed through the air. My chest tightened. I ran inside and saw several workers swinging sledgehammers at the walls. “Stop!” I shouted and stormed in. The house was a wreck. Furniture was smashed to splinters. Lance stood amidst the ruins, seizing my mother's ancestral tablet and smashing it to the ground. Crack! The tablet shattered into pieces. He was not satisfied. He stomped on my mother’s black-and-white portrait, grinding it into the floor.

“Mommy, you and Sarah can go to bed first. I’ll be bathing now!” “Alright.” Sally ruffled her obedient son’s hair. “Sleep early. Don’t mess around in the bathroom.” “Got it!” The little guy smiled as he shut the door to the bathroom. Sally yawned and walked into Sarah’s bedroom. She picked up a book of fairytales and lay on the bed before asking, “Where did we stop yesterday?” “We stopped when the little mermaid turned into a human and went looking for her prince.” Dressed like a pink bunny, the little girl leaned against the bed and blinked innocently as she gazed at Sally.

Tears filled her eyes as she tried to take them in. Aidan rested his hands helplessly on the pillar in front of him. "This isn't just about being the fairy mother, if...if" Aidan stammered. "If the wolves were to find out we'd be damned," Peri cut in. Both Peri and her advisor Aidan were worried and they assured themselves to just let it be a secret as they appoint her youngest daughter, Saria, as the Fairy mother. "Mother!" A young fairy was approaching. Saria was a fine young fairy with eyes like sunlight and hair blonde. She was slim-built and considerably tall for someone her age.

“Can you like, show me? What you mean, when you think of a mermaid?” I glance at Anton and then put my coffee on the table and move closer to Laila, conjuring a children’s story book in my hands as I do. It’s one of my favorites from when I was a little girl – a story about a mermaid who falls in love with a Prince who lives on land. She gives up her ocean life to go and live at his side.

The winter fairy asked. “Yes of course.” Elena said. She takes a drink of water as she did before. The water in the glass begins to swirl revealing a mermaid. The winter fairy spirit takes a close look and a version of memories rushes to her head. “This can't be? The mermaid you see isn't just one but many. They live in the kingdom of the Atlantic.” The winter fairy spirit said. “How does that connect to me?” Elena asked. “They appear to be in danger of their own kind.” The winter fairy spirit said.

"Mom, can you tell Viviana a story?" Mya told her a story about a prince and a mermaid. Viviana furrowed her brows and said, "The Little Mermaid was pitiful, but she was so infatuated! This prince wasn't really kind to her, and her death wasn't worth it." Mya: "..." Viviana pinched her hand and said, "Mom, in the future, please don't fall in love with a man who is love-struck!" Mya smiled and said, "I couldn't."

Loud bangs of thunder heralded the little Prince's arrival and neither were surprised when Merlin appeared. ‘The Prince?’ He took the baby from his mother's arms and walked to the open door of the balcony stepping outside into the maelstrom he held Prince Sebastian high, ‘Born from love Created by magic This world ignites From elements ecstatic A frog enchanted A Princess’s kiss This faery tale ended In love and bliss. The storm disappeared and the moon shone bright Merlin handed the baby back to the couple and smiled at the little family, ‘It’s over.’ He said simply and like all good faery tales they all live happily ever after. The End.

"Little Puffy said dissatisfied. "Huh?" "Morgan couldn't help being amused when he heard what it said. Moreover, it seems to be right. In its eyes, human beings are indeed big monsters! So what kind of little monster is this? "So can you tell me, what kind of... uh... creature are you? "Morgan looked at it leisurely, just waiting for its answer. "I am a fairy from a fairy group that knows magic and has fairy power, understand?" The little girl arrogantly raised her round face, her red nose, and her four big teeth were exposed, which was quite funny.
