Not if I can stop it. I slip out of my room silently, careful not to let the floorboards creak. My boots make no sound as I move through the hallways, down the familiar staircase, and to the concealed door behind the old tapestry. No one notices. They don’t know I’ve been coming here lately . The door groans softly as I open it, revealing the passage to the secret library. It smells like old leather, ink, and something faintly metallic—like dried blood forgotten on rusted tools. Hundreds of books fill the shelves, many of them crumbling or scorched around the edges. Knowledge they wanted hidden. Magic they feared.

Those were good times. Pushing open the library door, I was enveloped by the familiar scents of paper and ink. The sleek, modern shelves, packed with books of every genre, rose majestically to the ceiling, creating a sea of literary treasures. Every book had been handpicked by me, each one a reflection of my eclectic tastes. I navigated the narrow aisles, my fingers trailing over the spines of the books until they paused in front of a shelf filled with classic novels. He answered unsurely, but Aria ignored his strange behaviour. “Great, I look forward to hearing from you.” Aria quickly drafted a meeting agenda which she would send to him when he got back to her before going back to the file that held a thousand secrets. ### Aria moved around her office robotically gathering items she’d need for her meeting, her mind was blank as she went about her tasks, not knowing how to feel about the revelations hidden between the covers of the arch file on her desk. Leonard must have figured me out by now. He knew I was the type who acted shy on the outside but had secret desires underneath. After a few moments of teasing, he pulled me into another round, and we kept going until we were both completely worn out. When I was ready to leave, he insisted that I did not put my underwear back on. He said he wanted to keep it as a souvenir. I did not want to, but I could not argue with him, so I just did what he said. My stockings were already torn, so I could not wear those either. I took them off and went home wearing only my skirt.

I narrowed my eyes at him, watching as he stood up and let out a groan, "can you take me to that girl? I nodded, standing up as well. I then began walking in the direction of the basement with him following me quietly and closely behind. After a few more steps, I opened the mental door, revealing the girl who was sitting on a chair with her eyes closed, her head thrown back and soft snores coming out from her. Maybe I left her out there for too long? "Athena?" The name flew out of Alessio's mouth which made me furrow my brows in confusion. He walked towards her, taking rather large steps, "fucking hell," he breathed out once he was standing right in front of her, "is she dead?"

Owen heard the noise in the office and stretch his neck to see if this secretary is lying or was it just his ear that is deceiving him. The lady noticed his movement and chuckled, "I see you don't believe me, sir, do you wish to go inside and take a proper look"
