The Secretary Novels & Stories

Being lazy literally since I was born, or since I got out of orphanage. “Hey!” She called raising up at me. My steps towards my seat also halting. “You’re still my secretary, and my personal assistant somehow, so hurry here and come help me!” She stretched a whole bundle of file at me, to what, look the fuck into or go the fuck through them. Nah I ain’t doing that. “Huhhh? Ma’am please fire me as your secretary then!” I quickly pleased seeing the files stretched at me. They’re way too damn much for me to handle.

She withdrew her hand. “Introduce. I’m Brianna. I am the secretary of Mr. Russell Houston, aka Mr. President. I-“ Step. Step. Step. “Blahh... Blah... Blah...” Lunatte responded while walking past the secretary who was stunned because she was being ignored. Ctak! Veins of annoyance formed on the secretary’s forehead. Her body turned quickly! Her whole face immediately flushed. And her hands clenched tightly! “You! Lunatte Estelle! We will see! I’ll pay for what you did! DAMN IT!”

asked Jolie. "Secretary to the CEO. I work as one of the directors there. We could be good colleagues," Sam replied. For the umpteenth time, Jolie was surprised. Secretary to the CEO? That was quite an important position. Jolie would be working with the top leader of the JPL company. It was like a dream come true. "Secretary to the CEO? Are you serious?" Jolie asked spontaneously. "Yes, why not, it's in line with your goal. You used to dream of being a secretary in a big company. Well, you can realise it now."

* Any slight mistake can make me change my mind * Those words echoed and his mean voice jingled in my head like a bell. * My new colleagues gazed at me as I made my way through every unit.. until I got to my own office, I heaved a very heavy sigh before settling down on the comfortable seat. Right on my table, there was the complete set of a computer. I really don't know what I'm gonna do here but the last time I checked; A secretary is someone who records, takes notes, and handles the general work in a company. "Okay, Let's do this Eve" I said to myself.

he said with a smile and got up to leave the office. "WHAT?" E-executive secretary? Holy cow! I was shocked. Why is it too high? Did I hear it right? "What? Wait, Sir!" I closed the door and blocked his way. "Did I hear it right? You want me to be your Secretary? How about your current Secretary?" I was stunned because he was so tall. I had the glanced to look at his very smooth face and shit! The tip of the nose was very pointed. "Stop drooling, Ms. Hart."

They say that everything happens for a reason, and I didn't even imagine in my whole life that because of that incident I would meet the man who will make my knees weak. Like magic, when I open my eyes, the actress Cassandra Lei, became the secretary of the coldest CEO I have ever known.

“Oh, yes! It’s a bit slow because I had lost my old secretary, she’s gotten married and moved to the UK. Anyway, I’ve just got the replacement and she is working on it.” Mr. Lee said loudly. That made Stella jumped a little, praying that Mr.Lee was not going to turn to her and ask her to show her face. “Stella, where are you? She’s my new secretary, from Boston. Ah, Stella?” Here came her luck! The prayer wasn’t working at all! She slowly sat up and looked up to Mr.Lee without looking at the president’s direction! “Um, yes, Mr.Lee. The project’s in your email. I’ve sent it a while ago. It’s done.”

I inform him calmly, wiping the tears from my cheeks. “Rest assured, you won't have to see my face ever again, Mr.Cruiz.” I shoot him a pained look, “You are free to find yourself a new secretary, a good one who doesn't plot conspiracy behind your back.” He remains silent, looking at me with unreadable expression.

“I’ll have my men trace the location.” I exhaled, nodding even though he couldn’t see me. “Thanks.” After ending the call, I leaned against the wall, running a hand down my face. I leaned back in my chair, rubbing my temples as my secretary knocked on the door. "Sir, the applicant for the secretary position is here. Should I send her in?" "Yeah, let her in," I said distractedly, my mind still occupied with Rafael’s call. The door opened, and then— "Hi."

She pointed to a room on her left. “Go on then.” I told Theo. “You're relieved of your babysitting services.” He smiled and slapped me gently on the shoulder. “Good luck.” The receptionist led me through a hallway on the top floor and finally into a door. This was the secretary's office I guess because behind was another door with the initials L.W written on it. “Is this her?” The secretary asked. “Uh-huh.” Came the reply from the receptionist. “All right. He's waiting.” The secretary rose to usher me in.
