I swallowed. “There were countless times she called me,” Valentino continued, “telling me you were coming over.” His expression darkened. “She would tell me she was going to hurt you. But you were so oblivious… so unaware of why she hated you, that she couldn’t bring herself to do it.” He sighed. “But then she found her salvation.” My heart skipped. “You,” Valentino said, pointing at me again, “were being shipped off to the most ruthless Alpha anyone knew.” He gestured toward Demarion. “Alpha Demarion Jones. Who just so happened to be your mate.” His smirk returned.

But it was getting impossible. His scent was making me go crazy. “But you didn’t say that yesterday when you were crying my name while I was driving you crazy.” He said with a smirk and I open my eyes with disgust. How dare he blackmail me? I have had enough of these mate dramas. I won’t let him ruin my life again, and neither I will let him make me go through the same pain again. I knee in his jewels, and he moved back groaning. “Serve you good for thinking I am weak.
