I had no right to be happy, I had just lost my dad, my friend, raven was left in a critical condition, two men who weren't my mate were already lusting after me and worse of all, it seemed like my said mate had no interest in me. I just wanted a simple reason why he would do something so hurtful, especially with our pack's cook. But his next words cut through me like a sword. "You're not my mate, and I'll never accept you as one," he declared, his gaze fixed on Rita as if she were his soulmate. My heart sank as he hugged her and she kissed him, leaving me at a loss for words. The pack stood in shocked silence as the person I just found out was my mate turned to someone else in public. We planned the number of kids we would have, to love and raise together. She was the best partner I could have ever asked for. The perfect playmate, confidant, talk mate, and most especially, kind mate.” His voice dripped with buried sobs, but after a sniff, he continued.

Hello dear readers. Im shocked Ariadne was forced to kill her mate. she was hurt I was hurt too at how she made the irrational decision.
