Let Them Kneel

Let Them Kneel

he said, voice warped with that same hollow distortion, “I suppose the performance is over.” His hand moved. No warning. No incantation. Shadow lashed across the distance like a striking serpent — faster than sight, faster than thought. Julian barely had time to react before the darkness coiled around his wrist and wrenched. The Veil of Truth tore free from his hand. Gasps erupted. The artifact spun once in the air — light flashing wildly — before the shadow snapped back and delivered it cleanly into Draevyn’s waiting palm. Silence crashed down. He studied it with quiet fascination, molten fractures pulsing beneath his ruined skin.

This novel is so good from the start (not completed yet, 212 as of 1 May 2026). The mystery, the reveal, the high stakes rescue the fights. Has it all. And it all connects in a satisfying way. Love the FL and ML, such great chemistry. I couldn't wait for the updates. Highly recommend this read.

This was a really good book from beginning to end. And while it was a serial, it did have an ending which I appreciate unlike some other books on this app. Would love to see a book 2, perhaps about the children as adults. Overall, very engaging and I couldn’t wait for new chapters to be released.

Veil Of A Secret Vow

Veil Of A Secret Vow

Victor followed behind, surprisingly quiet. Father Benedict looked more nervous with every step. And Zevarion's father remained focused on the path ahead. Almost as if he knew where it led. After several minutes, the tunnel began to widen. The walls changed. Ancient carvings appeared on the stone. Symbols covered the surface. Some were worn by time. Others remained perfectly visible. Elyra examined them carefully. Many looked similar to the symbol from the journal. The same circle. The same markings. The same mystery.

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Zephina whispered, her fingers twitching against the iron clasp of her cloak. I reached out, my fingers hovering just above the polished surface of the artifact until the ambient chill began to numb my skin. The charm was carved from the dense femur of a young calf, its surface polished to a greasy, pearl-like sheen that caught the amber lamplight in distorted curves. Deeply etched into the reverse side was the jagged signature of a binding array, a sequence I recognized from the guard captains' ruined armor.

Fractured

Fractured

The surrender shifted from disappearance to communion. The Veil’s closest tear—a long, stubborn rent like a badly healed knife cut—waited. It had a personality, if such a thing could be said: impatient, performative, drawn to ruin for the attention ruin gets. It would have swallowed spectacle hungrily. It did not know what to do with what the three offered: continuity, conversation, craft.

Dangerous Game- Love in the Strangest Place

Dangerous Game- Love in the Strangest Place

A fine tendril of unease wound its way through her, a premonition she couldn't shake. "Alex Henry's divinations were clear," Crayons Arthur spoke from her left, his usually ebullient face now creased with seriousness. "The ley lines converge on the Glass Citadel at sunset. That's when the artifact's resonance is strongest, and therefore available for extraction." "And to interference," Sama Arthur added, her eyes scanning the dense, ancient forest that bordered the path. "Sunlight filtered through the leaves above, casting shifting patterns on the forest floor, but the stillness appeared too oppressive. "We move with caution, not speed. Dickson, Theo, your vanguard must be twice watchful. An

“Food. Codices. Artifacts. Even visitors, when it is safe. But you will stay here. You will cultivate. And you will survive.” Silence stretched between us, filled only by the thunder of waves. Then, slowly, I exhaled. “There’s something you should know,” I said. His brow lifted slightly. “Oh?” I reached into my necklace space and withdrew the tiny artifact. The reader. It hovered above my palm, its runes faintly glowing as it responded to my Core. “I made this,” I said. “Before I returned the journal.” Veylor’s attention snapped to it instantly. “I used it to copy everything,” I continued. “Every spell. Every truth. Every secret Maureen left behind. I returned the journal to you, but its kno

Veiled Deception

Then timing. At exactly 9:00 p.m., Violet left the main floor. At 9:10, two guards swapped shifts. At 9:15, the kitchen lights dimmed. At 9:20, the hallway near the west wing went quiet in a way it didn’t during the day. I was learning the house’s breathing pattern. And when you learn a thing’s breathing pattern, you can learn when it’s vulnerable. That night, I read Katherine again. Not for drama.

The Dark Forest: The Lycan King’s Fated Mate

The Dark Forest: The Lycan King’s Fated Mate

My eyes catch a glimpse of something just ahead. At the base of the cavern floor, nestled within a cradle of black stone between two massive coils of the serpent’s body, something faintly glows. Small. But unmistakable. I kick closer. The object rests on a natural pedestal of stone, no bigger than my fist. The artifact. I inch closer to see what I’m dealing with. The surface looks like petrified flesh turned to crystal over centuries. Deep crimson veins run through blackened stone, frozen in twisted patterns like lightning trapped inside rock.

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

“It’s where it all began.” The flame nodded, her light flaring, illuminating the Cradle’s heart—a massive crystal, not like the tower’s core but rougher, primal, embedded in the stone, its glow shifting—red, violet, gold—pulsing with the runes, the mark, the dagger, the shard. “The Veil was forged here,” she said, her voice—my voice—resonant, echoing off the cliffs. “Your blood, our blood, sealed it. Now it’s breaking, and only the trinity can choose its fate.”
