Crouching down to his level Damian smirked viciously as he tapped his gun on his chin as if he was thinking. "You know what I forgot about you trying to force her. Thanks for reminding me. Let me tell you a story I read, a novel actually." Damian smiled making the guy in front of him tremble two times. "In a Chinese novel which I read there used to be a villainess. A villainess who's desperate for the main lead. She tried to humiliate, hurt and kill the female lead. When nothing worked she tried to drug the male lead and tried to sleep with him. But we already know that the female lead would never let it happen. As usual the villainess is punished you know how? Guess it."

And because Andrew's story touched her heart, of course, she will really cry for him. Rhianne, on the other hand, was trying to analyze the situation. The Andrew Gartin in the book is a cruel and manipulative villain who mercilessly stole Rhianne's fortunes. But how come he became such a bad guy in the story? So it was all because of his past.

I answered him and Alpha Zane nodded in agreement. “So, what do we do now? We can’t find the Orb nor can we find the Book of Spells,” Alpha Zane said and sighed. “One thing we know for sure now is that whoever has the Orb and the book is the bad person or what do you call such people in movies and novels again?” Alpha Kelvin asked and I could see Alpha Zane roll his eyes to suppress a smile. “Villain. They are referred to as Villains,” I answered with a small smile.

I ran my hand through each one of them, looking for clues. What was I looking for in books? I've watched a lot of movies where the villains hide their secrets in the most unimaginable places, and someone as shady as Diego wouldn't be an exception. "I can't believe I labeled him as a villain already," I said with a groan. "And you got married to a villian, what does that make you as the main character? Someone thoughtless and dumb? It doesn't always end well with the villains," my subconscious mind teased me.

No. This is a story about misunderstood criminals. A villain is only a villain because they haven't had a chance to tell their story. A hero must win every time. But the villain only must win once. When we're kids, we idolise heroes. When you grow up though, you understand the villains. So no, there are no heroes in this story, only villains. It's not a story of good and bad. It's a story of only the bad, about that little psychotic part of everyone. About that little evil everyone has in them, it's about the demons that everyone has.

Scared of what, I don’t really know. Without hesitations, I embraced her. I wrap my arms around her very tight and regardless of whether she tried to get rid of not, I will not let her slip in my grip. She doesn’t like me, I know, actually, she hated me. I am the villain that makes her every day worse. I’m a troublemaker to her and I make her really mad each day but… today, she doesn’t have to hate me, she can treat me as a friend who genuinely wants to comfort her, help her, and to sympathize with her.

He killed his own father for heaven's sake. In the novel, he was described as someone who didn't feel any guilt, sorrow, or love and has a hobby of torturing his prisoners. But of course, it changed when he met the heroine. I didn't think it was love, but he became quite obsessed with the heroine and did all sorts of crazy things in order to possess her. The point is, he was a devil with the face of an angel. And that devil was currently standing in front of me. How come the villain and the villainess met at the marketplace? Fuck! This isn't supposed to happen!

He was brought to his knees, stripped of his title and his dignity. Lily was dragged from her chair, her pleas for mercy falling on deaf ears. By twisting the truth, I had ensured they would share the same fate—not as enemies, but as co-conspirators. As they were dragged toward the dungeons, Gabriel stepped to my side, his hand resting firmly on the small of my back. "You played a dangerous game, Vanessa," he whispered, watching our enemies disappear into the dark corridor. "I didn't play a game, Gabriel," I replied, looking up at him. "I ended one.”

What he shared with Noemi was nothing but platonic love. A great love story always needs a villainess to make it burn. And that villainess was me. Gianna Milano. The plot called for me to discover the emotional affair and go to war against Noemi: petty cruelty, jealous rages, one humiliation after another, all of it making Noemi shine brighter by contrast. Renato's contempt for me would grow until he handed me the divorce papers himself. Then I'd run to my father, try to use the family to tear them apart.

I was truly living the life of a side character, being treated that way by my own brothers. I picked up the pesticide bottle, twisted it open, and poured it straight into my mouth. "What are you doing?!" Charlie screamed in terror, his face turning deathly pale. Even the usually composed Lucas panicked at that moment. "Are you insane? Did you really drink it?" My consciousness grew increasingly hazy, and I thought, 'What's so insane about it?' The original character in that world, Maddison Sherman, was just a villainous side character doomed to die sooner or later anyway. I remembered that the original plot said that she was supposed to die there, but it was by suicide with a knife instead.
