The Whisper Man Novels & Stories

Once Wes and Willow were out of the market, they found themselves near the edge of a cliff. The wind picked up speed, and Willow wrapped her arms around her body. A man dressed in long black robes, a leather belt around his waist, and black boots with a thick maroon scarf draped around his neck and shoulders appeared to be waiting for them nearby. His hair was black, with gray patches on either side above the ears. “I am Byron, and I will be guiding you to the priest. Please follow me.”

his favorite words sounded in her head, and she quickly took her finger off the mark. It was at that moment she realized someone else is in the room with her. She turned back swiftly, grabbing a knife from the wall hanger which she tried throwing backwards, but strong hands captured her Immediately, and she came face to face with Tiger. Why is he always showing up anything she's thinking about Denzel? How did he even get here without her noticing? Only those trained in Atlanta know the silent steps skill, walking without making the slightest sound. Who the hell is he! "You're a spy, aren't you? You knowingly allowed me to capture you!" She muttered, and Tiger stared down at her naked body fo

Damon chimed in, a grimace slipping into place. Making a sound of agreement, Knight stood and stretched his arms above his head, groaning as his back cracked. “I wonder if they’ve uncovered anything new themselves. Didn’t they say they had Kalix investigating?” “The Whisperer,” Ghost hummed. Kalix, aka the Whisperer, was a wolf with the uncanny ability to project himself to anyone he locked eyes with. It didn’t matter how well protected the person was. One glance and he’d be able to visit them.

“ Meara!” The whispers started again, soft but notable. I tensed, my eyes snapping open. I scanned the field, but there was no one in sight. The sound seemed to come from the tree itself, from the rustling of its leaves. I pressed my palms against the rough bark and closed my eyes, focusing on the whispers. " Come... find... me..." The words were faint but distinct. My heart raced. Was I losing my mind, or was there something more to these whispers? I stood up, brushing the dirt off my jeans, and took a few steps back. The whispers grew louder, more insistent.

The pollen would have been all over the pack with the smoke blowing it around. While solving the mystery of the fainting man felt satisfying, I couldn't help but feel guilty as well. He had been poisoned with Whisperbloom before, but it had been entering my yard and village that had made him susceptible to injury in the first place. Which meant only one thing in return: it was my job to heal him. I would take care of him.I leaned close to the man, moving his clothes to the side so I could begin to dress his wounds. My eyes drifted to his face again as I worked and I couldn't help but pause once more.

she finally whispered. I looked around before leaning close to her and whispering. "I don't want to take your money, Stephanie. But...maybe you could set me up with this friend of yours. You'd be doing both of us a favor. I think you know me well enough to know I can keep it a secret." She nodded as she thought it over. "I can do that," she whispered huskily. I stood up and hugged her to me tightly. "Thank you so much, Stephanie," I whispered in her ear.

A man emerged from the shadows, dressed head to toe in black, his face hidden behind a dark mask. He stood silently, the tension thickening the air between us. I rose to my feet slowly, keeping my eyes locked on him, my fists clenched. My voice trembled with anger, “Why the hell are you doing this? What do you want from me, huh?” He didn’t look at me right away—just kept staring out the window like he had all the time in the world. Then he spoke, calmly, “I’ve told you before… I don’t want much. Just your boss’s address. That’s all.”

“Perhaps you don’t realize that I’m fully capable of destroying Jessica Lopez’s good name. Would you like me to dig up her past and ruin the success she enjoys today? Ms. Mariano, will you allow your friend to suffer until the end because of you?” Fear gripped her suddenly. Her stubborn resolve melted away. She fell to her knees before the old man, pleading. “P-please, don’t do that to my friend. Hurt me if you must… but don’t involve Jessica. I’m begging you,” she sobbed, her voice breaking. “Then do what I want you to do.” The old man remained unmoved. Instead, he stood and walked toward the door, leaving the kneeling, stunned, pale, and pleading woman behind.

Jonah clicked and the whisper came through — clearer, singular, unmistakable. The name on the recording was as small as a moth and as large as an accusation; it came through the speakers, slow and deliberate, and the single, tiny syllable was—

It moved with quiet insistence, as though carrying secrets downstream — as though something beneath its surface had awakened. Clara Whitmore watched it from her bedroom window. She hadn’t slept much. The man from the night before — the stranger with rain in his hair and something unreadable in his eyes — had followed her into her dreams. Not as a figure of romance. Not as a threat. As a question. And Clara Whitmore did not like unanswered questions. She dressed quickly and left the house earlier than usual, the cool air brushing her face as she locked the door behind her. The town still felt half-asleep. Streetlamps flickered off one by one. The scent of wet earth clung to everything.
