In Uncle Hector's eyes, I had always been honest; it was why he liked me. I heard from my father that Uncle Hector hated most when others lied to him. Uncle Hector originally had a wife and children, but his wife deceived him and eventually ran away with their children. It was the reason why he hated it when others lied. I hurriedly explained, but Uncle Hector just would not believe me. I even said I would be a dog if I lied, but Uncle Hector was still furious. He went to sleep outside by himself and ignored me. Besides Grandpa, Dad, Mom, and Uncle Liam, the one who treated me the best was Uncle Hector, but now, he hated me.

I stood by you after it all, I fucked up, avoiding and ignoring you. That wasn't down to me hating you, Marcus, that was me being a dick, then after that, I didn't because I felt guilty. He had been drowning from holding back the truth for long. "You had no right to hurt me the way you did. You had no right to say what truth I could bear or not! I deserved to know why you rejected me," I said. I didn't even know how to react; I simply followed my raw feelings. "All these years, you're telling me that I've hated you for nothing?"
