It's been too long since he's eaten or drank anything; his scream comes out broken and airy. Red hot pain shoots through his body as they sink their fangs into his skin and forcefully drink what little blood he has left. He feels his body become even weaker as they drink what little life he has left. Somehow, he knows this time this is it; they'll go too far, and he'll never see her again. A tear rolls down his face, and he screams one last scream for her, screaming her name, “EVELYN!” Nadja screamed as he sat up, gasping for air as he reached for her.
