We all stare at it in awe as rogues approach. ‘I wonder?’ May says as she pulls it out and holds it up. ‘The spells we read in the book of spells and hexes, Magnus!’ She says. I’m confused. I give May a strange look before another bone breaks. May steps out from the bushes, holds the stick high in the air, and yells ‘Tumultuous Volley!’ Thunder erupts, and dark clouds appear and swirl around high above the rogues. Tumultuous Volley is one spell in the book I had read. It summons a storm and strikes enemies down with lightning.

The Wizard was beyond shocked because those words just passed through his ears and he didn’t gather them in his head while a hand grasp his throat again. “Majesty,” the wizard quaked with fear as he could see his death. He slapped Gabriel’s hand to free himself, but to no avail. “Tell me the rest,” remonstrated Gabriel, increasing the pressure on the wizard’s throat. He hated unfinished business. “Werewolves! a large pack!” the foam came out, and the man fell to the ground with his little life.

His gaze fixated on those gates and no matter how many knights were stacked against it, they were blowing open. “Stop him!” Someone shouted. “It’s the Mage’s Second Commander.” *** I heard the clanking of more metal. Then I heard a rumble like thunder rolling over the gardens. Too low to be a storm. White clouds and stars were suddenly darkened under pure blackness. The moon became just a dusky silver haze in some distance that lent no light here. I squinted through the pitch fog and could just make out a figure on Warlord’s balcony. And suddenly I knew for sure what this was.

Liam replied. The weight of the impending danger pressed against me, and the grandeur of the throne room felt suffocating. Every word etched a sense of doom in the air, and the shadows seemed to dance with malevolence. Allan, standing tall and resolute, added, "We must fortify our defenses and gather intelligence on the wizard's movements. We can't let fear paralyze us; we need to be proactive in securing the safety of the kingdom." Daniel, his eyes sharp with insight, chimed in, "We should seek counsel from the forest spirits. Their wisdom might guide us in understanding the nature of this unleashed threat."

"This is the Webers' mystical technique, Nine Heavens Thunder. Its power is mighty. Your cultivation alone can't handle one move from this attack! A purple lightning as thick as a barrel struck down from the sky. It was full of destruction! "Haha! Even a martial arts overlord can't handle this move! You're just a little bastard who's a new martial arts overlord. What can you do to defend yourself?" The old man laughed madly. "Nine Thunder what?" Chase smiled and pointed upward. A flash of sword flash tore through the air. There was a loud explosion, and the lightning exploded. The sky was covered with purple light.

As Eleanor and I ventured deeper into the heart of the forest, an unnatural darkness began to blanket the sky. The air grew colder, and an ominous silence settled around us. We quickened our pace, knowing that time was running out. Back in Silverwood Falls, chaos reigned. Gabriel Blackwood, in a desperate bid for power, had unleashed a devastating spell. "A Thunderous Catastrophe…" "How powerful is this person to call upon something like that?" "That's terrifying." Like King Astro, everyone could not believe their eyes either, nor could they even begin to describe what they were feeling. They knew that only cultivators who had broken through the last three stages of cultivation were capable of calling upon a Thunderous Catastrophe. Darryl and Master Magaera had done just that with a duel of skills… It was truly terrifying.

We all said in unison. He lets out a heavy breath. “We have two oracles in our pack that just recently came in to their powers. They have told me they have seen an impending war coming our way. They can’t tell me why or when it’s starting let alone who is behind it. If anything, I think that is the reason behind the breach today.” “Why didn’t you tell us this sooner?” Asked Sean, the lead warrior. “I planned on it but I wanted to talk to them a little more first but things came up and I wasn’t able to.”
