She said to the lawyer. He turned to Stephan who gave him the go ahead with only a nod, clearing his throat, “Ah-hem. Well the terms are simple Miss Heathrow—You are to act as a surrogate and wife for the very Mr Stephan Ashford, for a duration of a year and six months. The child in which you are to carry, would not rely on being created by coitus but by artificial insemination…..” The word ‘coitus’ left a bitter taste in her mouth. She felt color rose in her cheeks as her eyes met with that of her husband’s. A part of her could sense he felt the awkwardness too.

Theodora Althea Corazon, a woman buried six feet below the ground and now the living corpse bride of a man, The Mafioso's Corpse Bride.

It takes a moment before she pulls something out, waving it in my face. That’s the best movie she could find. I do have to say that it’s better than another movie I can think of, but Warm Bodies…a zombie love story. It’s just the thing I want to see right now, a dead man who tries to be as much alive and human as possible for his attraction to a living breathing girl. Is this some sick joke or a really bad dream? Maybe just maybe I’ll wake up and laugh at myself. “Don’t give me that look. There is nothing wrong with Warm Bodies. You know I have a crush on Nicholas Hoult. Now why don’t you get some snacks for us while I get the movie ready.”

She replied with a smile. After breakfast, they both left the house for Empire’s mansion, and as usual, they stopped to get ice cream for Ashley. Hayden texted Bryan and asked about when Lydia is going to be buried, he replied and told him in an hour time. They got to the mansion and Lucas welcomed them with a smile, Ashley greeted the old man cheerfully. Hayden informed her about the burial and told her to be ready in an hour, they all went to their separate rooms to get ready.

Rapidly, she shook her head, motioning to her mouth as if to say she couldn’t speak. “One day, we’ll get her voice back from Ursula, but until then, “ Carter cracked a joke to lighten the mood of the packhouse porch. “Are you Alpha Markus?” he questioned after a moment. The man nodded, still staring at Kylan as Carter reached out to shake his hand. “I'm Carter of Blackwood pack. I came to keep my mate company while she visits your pack.” Alpha Markus turned his gaze onto Carter, something flickering in their depths as Carter introduced himself. With a nod, he turned and started walking into the house, expecting them to follow. Kylan kept her hand in her mates as the three of them follo

That Kyra had died a long time ago. “Just…answer one last question, Jordan, since the past is already done and dealt with. But by some miracle, if we could go back to the time seven years, to the night of our wedding and let’s just say we had become husband and wife…” I told him patiently, spelling out each syllable like I was talking to a three year old. “What would’ve happened to my passion? What about my ballet?” “What about it?” He frowned, as if he had heard the word ‘ballet’ for the first time in his life.

“Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for a wonderful night! Though it was short, I hope you enjoyed the music, refreshments, and wine. You're the picture of aging with grace...” His voice trailed off as their murmurs grew into angry protests. “Rest in peace, my children,” he whispered. His eyes flashed crimson and they froze, disintegrating into dust blown away by a sudden wind. Corpseboy sighed, looking at me with measured disgust. “There, happy now? Really, I go through all that effort to reanimate corpses, and instead of being impressed, you get rid of them. My beautiful creations...” “Reanimated corpses? You brought them back from the dead?”

I had always liked to pretend I was dead since I was a child, just because I was born lethargic. While the other kids were learning to walk and talk, I was learning to keep my body temperature on the lower end, keeping my heart rate under 50. When we played hide-and-seek at the kindergarten, I was locked in a cupboard by a classmate. Not bothered at all, I held my breath and waited for death's sweet release. In fact, I was thoughtful enough and adjusted my posture so that I could be laid down easily on the morgue slab. So when my classmate opened the cupboard and saw me lying there, looking lifeless, she ran and almost wet her pants as she screamed that she had killed someone. When a hu

"This is impossible!" Lana's voice shifted in pitch as she gazed at the wedding invitation. "You're... really getting married? Cruz! You went ahead and got a marriage license with her without letting me know? And you even altered the name? You... You've gone too far!" Lana's eyes quickly turned red. Tears swirled in her eyes like she was in extreme distress. I was completely speechless, thinking, 'This woman must have graduated from an acting school! It's a pity she didn't become an actress.' '

Pain flared, hot, bright, but she did not let go. She slammed his head against stone, once, twice, until his eyes rolled back. The bundle lay still. She tore the cloth away, hands shaking. Inside: a doll, crudely made, stuffed with straw. Another decoy. Garrick laughed, weak, bloody, through broken teeth. “You’re too late,” he rasped. “The real child is already gone. The Order took it hours ago, while you played at ritual.” Elara’s claws pressed to his throat, drawing blood.
