END Hello, author here. This is my first time to ever leave any notes but please forgive me if I made any inconvenience to any of you. In any case, this is the end of volume 1 of BLAIR. I am terribly sorry for the slow updates and short chapters, but I will try to improve. Thank you for all your support so far and prepare for volume 2, The Great Sandcastle!!

Her black hair was braided straight down and reached the curve of her back. "You know staring is rude." Illiad said putting her knife down and turning to look at him. "Tell me, love, what's on your mind?" She asked and Weaver let out a sigh, "Alex is worried about us being attacked by rouges, I don't blame him but we haven't seen a single rouge since we've gotten here."

Matty walked Briella to the podium and tapped her elbow lightly to stop her in front of the microphone, and Lila marveled at the small system they had developed with one another. “My name is Briella,” she began, and the entire gathering went so quiet you could hear the wind move wistfully through the trees. “My friends call my Brie,” she explained and then Azreal’s worst nightmare began to unfold, “she’s blind,” someone yelled from the crowd and as Azreal began to growl Briella touched her father's arm but addressed the crowd.

Rivana asked, staring out the window at the bloodstains on the ground below. “Yes. I’ve tormented that bitch more times than I can count. If anything, I know she’s not the type to take the easy way out,” Blaire said, folding her arms. “I see,” Rivana murmured, her eyes narrowing. “I’ll begin.” “Try not to cause a scene,” Blaire warned gesturing to jade’s slippers. Rivana gave a slight nod and inhaled deeply, placing jades slippers into a magic circle she watched on the ground, her lips moved in a low whisper, quoting incantations. Blaire didn’t understand the words, but she could feel the air change.

I sniffed the air, and I confirmed that the folks approaching my house with savage intent, was indeed the Lourmarin villagers. I was relaxed and unperturbed for a second, but the next second my mind was not at rest when their whispers metamorphosed into screams and chants, that didn't seem to be any friendly, but a mere declaration of war. "Brûlez-les. Abattez-les. Des bêtes vivant sous forme humaine." They chanted. Which I think means, "Burn them down. But them down. Beasts, living in human form."

FAITH “Yeah,” I murmured, the sight stealing my breath. “It feels like we’re driving straight into a painting.” Blaze smiled, and his tone turned mischievous again. “See? Aren’t you glad I insisted on the drive? I knew my idea was better than touching grass.” I laughed, the sound mixing with the wind as it tousled my hair. “Okay, fine. I’ll give you this one. The beach beats grass any day.” Blaze smirked, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the steering wheel. “I knew you’d come around. I always win in the end.”

People were calling me a plagiarist and were attacking me on every social media platform I had. Additionally, the number one trending topic was #GenuisPaintressLeahRivers. It turned out Skyler had spent a fortune to make Leah's art show a trending topic. People were singing her praises in the comments and calling her an art prodigy. I tapped on the hashtag and looked at photos of Leah's art show. Due to my blurred vision, I stared at them for a long time until my left eye became sore. That was when I saw that most of her work, including the details and inspiration, were blatant copies of my work. Yet, everyone thought she was the victim.

I wasn’t taking any chances. “I’m blind, dear. I can’t see whatever it is you are trying to hide, and heavens be damned if you think I will let you out of my sight for a split second. If you have every intention to take a shower, you better get to it right now,” I replied, and Vesta sighed in defeat.

Jack immediately frowned and signaled for someone to take her away. His expression turned gloomy. He pulled Gabriel to the front of my car and forced him to kneel. Then, he grabbed a stick, striking Gabriel hard several times until Gabriel collapsed, whimpering in pain. After that, with a humble and servile attitude, he said, “Mr. Cullen, my brother is truly blind. He failed to recognize who you were. Please calm your anger. Jenkins Construction will cover any damages today. We’ll even buy you a better car.” “If one car isn’t enough, we’ll buy ten. Even a hundred of them. Whatever it takes to earn your forgiveness!

Blake floated up out of the hole with only one other sentence. “With all your wailing, they may even name this place Wailing Caverns.”
