The Alpha's Betrayal: My Second Chance To Defy Fate

The Alpha's Betrayal: My Second Chance To Defy Fate

"Fate is like energy. It cannot be created nor can it be destroyed. The wheel turns, but the wind, situation, and road will determine which direction and the speed at which it turns. You cannot defy fate. You can only pass it to another or push it forward." "What could that mean?" I asked. Dayo turned to Darragh. "If I survive your father, Riona comes for me. That tells me something important. It's important that I die." Darragh scoffed. "You cannot be serious." "I am." She looked between us, her expression eerily calm. "Does it not make sense to you?" "Permit me to speak," I said. "Speak," Dayo replied.

A Fate Reclaimed

It was also because what she stole had always been my destiny to begin with. I looked up at him and smiled lightly. "Then how do you plan to make it up to me?" Jonah curved his lips and pulled me into his arms. "With a lifetime. Is that enough?" Jonah gave me a grand wedding. The moment he held my hand was the first time since my rebirth that I truly felt alive. On the wedding day, I saw my parents. Their eyes were red as they reached out with trembling hands, trying to grab mine. My gaze, however, was cold.

It felt as if I was reborn while still holding a deep grudge against the moon goddess. “How come you are now seeing that Zander, do I look like him or are you suddenly just starting to go blind because it seems as though the latter is the truth? Otherwise, why would you will think that I am my Beta” “I'm sorry, I didn't look well, Alpha Laurent, please forgive me, I deserve to die”

Runaway To My Alpha Brother-In-Law

Runaway To My Alpha Brother-In-Law

“What? What is it?” “Everyone, regardless of what they do or say, they have a predetermined fate. That means something in their life that no matter what they do, they would have ended up like that. The spirits say that your entire life’s trajectory is in your hands. From the moment you were born. All the choices you’ve made, they.... there is no predetermined fate for you. Had you done things a certain way, your outcome would have been different. Even now, your fate is in your hands. This is incredible. Sometimes the gods play with our lives, it’s normal. Hence why we have mates, soul bonds, and other things that are predetermined by forces greater than us. Yo

I clutched the note to my chest, how was I meant to know where he would be, it had all been coincidence so far surely. Fyre murmured something that had been bubbling away at me for weeks, /aren’t you meant to be a Fate, course you can find him if you try hard enough./

I just started reading this book literally not even a month ago, I love how each character takes its change, the twists when you think you know what’s going to happen but more on how some perspective of how it should be isn’t always the case because Fate has other plans that haven’t yet been taken.

Loved this book! I know I am kind of reading them backwards. I started with Betas Prize and Lunas Assassin then realized they were part of a series and began to read this one. I have not yet read an Alle book I didn’t get sucked into. Helena’s & Alexander’s story is exciting, beautiful and intense

Fighting Fate

Fighting Fate

Regret that the person your soul and wolf is bound to forever is not the right kind of person for you. People forget that Fate doesn’t plan for everyone to have a happy ever after. Fate is not a fairy godmother granting wishes. Some people have to suffer to make the greater plans of the world move. You can’t make everyone happy. So some people, like my poor sister Pen, must be mated to the sadistic bullies of the world because Fate has a higher plan than her daily life.

Another great story written by Alle! I really enjoyed the characters conversing with the reader, it was a really neat perspective that I’ve never read before now! This book has it all- love, humor, excitement, danger, heartbreak, and healing … all bundled up nicely with a bow. READ IT!

The POVs were my favorite part of the book! It felt like an intimate conversation between the character and the reader. And Rocco! Oh he is quite a character, my favorite, Troy though LOL. This book was playful, emotional, romantic, hot, suspense full, all bundled up with Alles brilliant writing!

“I believe that fate pushes in the direction we're supposed to go, but we have to chose how to go there. We get to choose the path that leads us to our fate.” “Interesting,” he said, slowly digesting my words. “What if I don't like my fate? Do I get to choose a different one?” “No,” I replied shaking my head. “We don't get to chose our fates, just how we accept them. Fate is that the sun is going to set and we will be in the dark. There is nothing we can do to stop it. It is what is destined to happen. But we have free will, so even though the sun sets and there is darkness, we can chose to gather and light candles.”

At this time, Lina had returned home, she angrily went straight to her room when the sound of her parents talking caught her attention and stopped to listen even though her whole body was drenched. “ Baby, so we were right with that hypothesis, people have predestined fate and two people come together in this life because of the affection of their previous life.” “ That's right, now just need to verify with the device that the past life that you researched, our spiritual research can be said to be half successful.”

I grinned as I tried not to chuckled, “It’s a blessing, Vanessa.” “Now I know why my body feels heavy.” King spoke. “Why is it?” I asked with a grin. He smirked, “Considering that I've been carrying faithfulness and thoughtfulness in me. And not to mention my handsomeness.” I wasn't able to hold back and I joined Vanessa and Clarisse laughed, but still in a controlled manner. Vanessa sighed, “Seriously. I really wanted to have a thoughtful and faithful man but I can't seem to find it.”

Man's Fate' by André Malraux is a heavy, philosophical dive into revolution and sacrifice. The ending is brutal but fitting—after the failed Shanghai uprising of 1927, the revolutionary group faces collapse. Kyo, one of the central figures, is captured and given cyanide to kill himself before execution. His death is quiet, almost dignified, a stark contrast to the chaos around him. Meanwhile, Katov, another key character, gives his cyanide to two terrified comrades and faces torture and death unarmed. The novel doesn’t offer hope in a traditional sense; it’s more about the cost of idealism and the fleeting nature of human agency in the face of overwhelming force.

What lingers isn’t just the tragedy but the way Malraux frames their choices—Kyo’s acceptance, Katov’s generosity. It’s less about victory or defeat and more about how people cling to meaning when everything falls apart. I still think about that last scene with Katov sometimes—how the smallest acts of solidarity can define a life, even at the end.
