Before any of them responded, a voice sliced through the air. “Well, if it isn’t our future Luna.” Tessa. Of course. She sauntered forward with her usual entourage, skirt too high, smile sharpened into something that wanted to cut. “What’s it like,” she purred loudly, “having four Alphas dragging you around like their favourite toy?” Heat climbed my neck, but I refused to flinch. “Better than being one,” I said sweetly, nodding toward her wide-eyed followers.
