POV: Alexa I opened the door to the office and saw Marcy our receptionist answering phones. As I walked in she waved her hands indicating she needed to speak to me so I waited for her to put the caller on hold. “Good Morning Alexa. I wanted to let you know that one of your consults cancelled for today so you only have two.” I dreaded slow days and now that there was one less patient on the schedule which meant a slow day indeed. “Thanks Marcy. Which appointment cancelled?” She looked down at her list and explained that the nine a.m. appointment cancelled. I thanked her once more and made my way to my office.

she asked, her voice trembling with concern. In a weak voice, I tried to explain, but my words were interrupted by sobs. "I’m fine, Mom. It’s just temporary," I said, trying to reassure them, even though my own heart felt shaky. Zara and Zoya wiped their tears and came closer, wanting to help, even though they were still too young to fully understand the situation.

I heard Randhir's voice, "Bhai, move back." I started moving my car backwards applying back gear. But our second security car was also smashed and I could see the leftovers on the road. Somehow I had to manage to move my car fully through the small passage to turn and reach back to our nearest back up area. The entire situation looked like a mess and the way the truck started moving, I was guessing something shit to happen too.
