Aurora I couldn’t sleep that night. I cried a lot. Not just from sorrow but from the anger of only being seen now and because I’m their mate. I remembered a particular day when we were younger and I’d just been declared a maid. They saw each other and walked straight to the center, pulled by something they couldn’t name. Even from far away I saw it. They stood the same way. Tilted their heads the same.
