Bella couldn't let it go. She had to get things straight with Scarlett. "Wayne was the one who made you apologize. You should go talk to him!" Scarlett replied. Why was Bella coming after her? Did she think Scarlett was an easy target? "I'm not going to him; I'm coming to you!" Bella shouted impatiently. "When you lied to me, you had plenty to say. Now, why are you acting all scared?" Scarlett stared at her. "You want to harm me, so of course, I had to keep an eye on you."

I saw a flicker of something in her expression, perhaps hurt, but it quickly transformed into anger. "So you care about her that much?" Bella spat, her voice filled with bitterness, loud enough for anyone nearby to hear. "You care about what she thinks of you? What about me? What about me, you jerk? Do I not matter?" She shoved me forcefully in the chest, stepping away from me and approaching Ayva. "Bella," I called out, reaching for her wrist in a futile attempt to stop her. But it was too late. She had already raised her hand and delivered a harsh slap across Ayva's face.

Onyx’s smile had the woman blushing. “I couldn’t agree more. That’s why I have to have her. I won’t stop hounding her until she’s all mine.” Bella turned to Tasha, smiling, and forced a tip into her hand. “Oh, I like him. If I was forty years younger…” She sighed dreamily as she walked out, making Onyx grin. “I mean it, you know,” Onyx said to Tasha quietly when she came close. “I won’t stop all this until I have you.”
