"Bella..." My arm stretched out hopelessly, as if I could somehow reach her, protect her from the monster looming over her. I felt a wave of despair wash over me, knowing I was powerless to save her. My vision began to tunnel, and I knew I was running out of time. With a Herculean effort, I tried to speak again, my voice cracking with desperation. "Run...Bella...run..." "You are the only one that sincerely cares about me. I am eating well and i am taking good care of myself so there is no need for you to worry." She replied as Carl sighed. He apologized to her guiltily as Bella shook her head.
