It was the twins who gave me courage to face the ugly, disgusting emotions that ate away at my soul. I gathered every thought, every emotion in my mind. All of my fear, desperation, anxiety, horror, hatred, anger, love. I took it all and let it fester within me. The burst of energy that coursed through me was so intense, I let out an earth-shattering howl. My howl filled the night, echoed along the trees and delved deep into the forest. Every inch of my body filled with this unfathomable feeling. It felt like I had touched a live-wire, like I was being electrocuted.

There was this innate need within me to draw out those overwhelming emotions so that he could breach the surface again and be able to breathe. For a minute, I simply froze, my body trembling as the strange emotions crept more and more into my body. I felt guilty. Why? I felt a hollowing sorrow that made me want to cry. Anger, resentment, and regret. The emotions flooded through me, drowning out my own thoughts and pushing against my chest till I could barely breathe. Somehow, I could tell that the emotions weren’t mine, so who the hell was it coming from, and why was I feeling it so strongly? I pressed my hand to my chest, taking deep breaths in to calm my racing heart. But the more I tried to focus, the stronger they became. Anger clashed with sadness and a gut-wrenching guilt that made my stomach twist painfully.

I rose from where Kevan lay and chased after that person whose back I could only see. What i felt was like a vexing of the soul for what I felt was not human, it was twisted and distorted but it was something strong. It burned so bad like fire lacing my veins and creeping up my spine, all I could feel was desire; desire to hate. To kill. I was intoxicated with emotion I had no intention of ever feeling, the acidity of it was residing in my stomach, in my lungs, my mind, in every part of my being, waiting to be unleashed.
