Napakarami na ng problema ng bayan ng Garapal dahil sa bilang ng mga krimeng nangyayari ngunit parang mas malaki pa yata ang problema ni Ruanne. Nais lang naman ni Ruanne na makalimot sa pangangaliwa ng nobyo niya na sa kaaway pa niya napiling makipaglandian. Ngunit ang taksil niyang puso ay hindi umaayon sa gusto ng kanyang isip. Sa gitna ng kanyang pagmomove-on ay nakilala niya si Pio, ang isa sa mga staff ng sikat na tindahang 'The Shoemaker'. Ang 'The Shoemaker' lang naman ang pinakasikat na tindahan ng sapatos na mayroon lamang isang branch na nakapuwesto pa sa tapat ng boutique ni Ruanne. Ito lang din naman ang magiging kalaban ni Ruanne kung sakaling simulan niya na ang kanyang shoe line. At ang tahimik na buhay ng binatang nag-aasikaso nito ay mabubulabog dahil sa alok ni Ruanne na maging pekeng kasintahan niya na siya namang tinanggap agad ng binata. Ngunit sa pagsunud-sunod ni Ruanne kay Pio, may malalaman siyang hindi dapat. At matatagpuan niya na lamang ang sarili niyang sinusunod ang lahat ng gusto ng binata, maging sa ibabaw ng kama. At hindi lang iyon, mapapasok niya pa ang delikadong mundo ng mafia.

Luca's expression turned serious. "What's going on, Isabella? You can tell me anything." Isabella took a deep breath before blurting out the truth. "I'm pregnant, Luca." The room fell silent. She felt like she was frozen in time, unable to move or speak. The man took a step closer, his eyes fixed on hers. "You've been hiding my child from me for seven years.
