Although she could feel his eyes on her, she decided to ignore it and pretty much pretended that he did not exist. Dear Gentle Readers aka my angels, we meet again. This time it is on another story of mine that I wrote back in 2018 following The Bad Nerd Boy and Irresistible Temptation. For those of you who don't know, Tyler found out that he actually has a twin brother (Tyson) that his mum gave for adoption. That twin brother was adopted by a rich family, The Ascott. After the heat thing, Twilight was supposed to completely turn down Alex because she felt bad about it. 28. To add to fact 28, Trey and Twilight were supposed to do the devil’s tango the first time they were at his cabin, but I thought it was a crappy move for her to sleep with Trey three days after hurting Alex. They were also supposed to hook up a few more times after that.

At that second a flash of white streaked across the sky and flickered out. "A falling star!" Twillow exclaimed, pointing. "Yeah. So it is." She buzzed her wings with excitement, "You need to make a wish!" Kendrick huffed a short laugh, bouncing her, "That doesn't work." "Of course, it does!" Twillow insisted, turning to his face beyond, "I'm a fae and I know this stuff." Kendrick glanced at her and stated wistfully, "Then all the ones I wished on must've been broken."

The hunters then weaponized the air, swirling it into currents that surrounded the twins. The female hunter blended with the wind, her form barely visible as she moved. But the twins acted swiftly, thrusting their hands forward in perfect unison. A powerful force surged outward, catching the female hunter and hurling her backward. She spun wildly before conjuring her own winds, a barrier swirling around her to shield her from the attack.

“You’re lucky I showed up when I did. That woman can file a complaint just for blinking the wrong way near her.” “Do you make a habit of rescuing women from rich bullies?” I muttered dryly. “Only the ones with claws sharp enough to scare me,” he teased, winking. I rolled my eyes, lips twitching despite myself. “Come on,” he said, offering his hand. “Let’s get out of here before one of your other fans throws a drink on you.”

It was one of the few times I had cursed, and that alone should have made it clear just how irritated and angry I was. “I am sorry,” she said, exhaling like she had been holding it in for hours. “She is Ida Bennet. Aleksander’s ex fiancée.” She finally said it. And honestly, I was not even surprised. They had been all over each other just minutes ago. It was clear there had been something between them. Something real. “And you did not care to tell me?” I asked, my voice cracking as tears threatened to fall again. “I told you before, I cannot put myself in the middle of you and Aleksander’s business just because I am your assistant,” she said quietly.

I would love to watch some of those wolves, who took pride in their control, squirm. He got out of his chair. “I don’t think it’s a good idea. The last thing I want to do is have you back in that bed for a month. When you see them it might make it worse.” I shook my head and concentrated on my sandwich. “I won’t do anything. I’m numb to all of this now. I want to meet the woman who’s taken the place I wanted to be in.” He stared at me as I put things back where they belong. “I want you to think about this before you decide you want to go.”

I threw the abortion report from the Healer in their faces and had the guards throw them out. After reading the report and confirming that I had truly aborted the only heir of the Twilight pack, the Ackhursts completely lost their minds. They momentarily dropped their fear of Dad's authority and stood outside the gates of the Bloodmoon pack. There, they cursed me for being ungrateful and disloyal. Andre even went so far as to yell, "Jane! I'm not dead. I'm your real fiancé, Andre! Come out and see me, Jane! I don't believe you've stopped loving me…"
