He sighed softly, his expression softening with understanding. “Amanda, you don't need to apologize,” he said gently, crouching down to my level. "I understand you're going through a difficult time, and emotions can be overwhelming. But offering yourself like that… it's not the solution. You deserve respect and understanding, not to feel ashamed…” he paused and flashed me a reassuring smile. “I want you to see me as a friend, and as your friend, it is my duty to help you without wanting anything in return. So, Can you do that? Can we be friends?” He offered, his eyes sparkling with genuine kindness.
