The Heiress They Couldn’t Kill

The Heiress They Couldn’t Kill

Chapter Thirty-Four does not end with resolution. It ends with inevitability. She has paid the price of intervention. Now she will collect interest. And the system, for the first time, understands that the most dangerous consequence was never her defiance it was her refusal to carry the cost alone.

Unintended Bride

Unintended Bride

made me angrier than I expected. Gideon recovered and explained quickly to save himself. “Anya thinks that her window is closing. The pity game brings her into the spotlight once more. Makes her the victim and the one you need to comfort. Classic move when someone feels replaced.” I walked, grinding my teeth. Gideon spoke on. “And there is more. Arthur failed in winning the Hallswell contract. That project would have gotten the Beckett firm out of their trouble. It was big enough to pay for everything, including those mafia loans. You messed that one up too. Remember? You gave it to someone else. That was the beginning of the actual mess. Anya knows it. She’s using the interview to blame the

Wrong Intentions

Wrong Intentions

I ended things with him. I should leave. I can’t be here. I can’t sit here and watch them. It is too much. I lay cash out on the table to cover my coffee and silently pray I can get out of here without Everett seeing me. Thank God I haven’t ordered my food. I would feel terrible if I needed to cancel my food once they had already started it. I quickly put my hat and shades back on, keeping my head down as I head for the door—bad idea. Since I am not paying as much attention as I should be, I soon walk straight into someone’s chest with enough force, and I stumble back and fall on my ass. No! This can’t be happening. Haven’t I been through enough this week?

The Forgotten Mate

The Forgotten Mate

Little did they know, their actions were setting in motion a chain of events that would have far-reaching consequences for everyone involved. Little did they know that their malicious intentions would set in motion a chain of events that would have far-reaching consequences, ultimately leading to a confrontation that would change the course of their lives forever.

Her Stepbrother's Obsession: His Kitten

Her Stepbrother's Obsession: His Kitten

"That’s more like it." But even as we sat there, already thinking of the next move, one thing stayed lodged in my head. We didn’t know who it was. We didn’t know what they wanted. And worst of all? We didn’t know when they’d strike next. The final bell rang, a loud, echoing chime that signaled the end of another school day. I shut my book with a quiet thud, letting the weight of it rest in my hand for a moment. My fingers traced the edges of the worn pages—The Lucifer Effect, a twisted psychological study on how power and circumstance could turn ordinary people into monsters. Fitting. I had always been drawn to books like this, not just because they were interesting but because they confirme

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

"The argument about the ground — Thomas's grandfather, the obligation of the middle position, the doing-knowledge. They recognized the argument." "Yes," Ernest said. "The book found the reader who holds the knowledge the next book needs," Don said. He said it with the quality of someone who had found the most accurate description of something that had happened, something that could not have been predicted or planned but that made sense in retrospect, something that was not chance but was also not designed. The book had been written without knowing who would read it. The book had been read by the people who needed to read it. The book had created the condition for the next book.

Love Me Then Destroy Me

Love Me Then Destroy Me

But the space she had occupied - that particular, specific, irreplaceable space - was vacant now without any possibility of negotiation or renegotiation. For the first time in my adult life, I understood in my body rather than just in my mind that some consequences aren't punishments. They aren't designed to hurt you or teach you a lesson. They are simply permanent. They are the shape of what happens when something is done that cannot be undone, and the person most affected by it decides to leave and not look back.

The Mate They Threw Away

It was the kind of pulse that goes directly past your skin and settles somewhere deeper. “I have not reached any conclusions yet,” Marcus said, standing near the altar with his hands clasped behind his back. “But I am certain of this: whatever this book is, it must be kept away from public knowledge. If it falls into the wrong hands, the wrong understanding, the consequences would be catastrophic.” “What does it do?” I asked. Marcus looked at me with the expression of a man who has been worrying about this question for longer than tonight. “This,” he said carefully, “is a Book of Untold Story. And it is not from this dimension.”

Expect The Unexpected

Expect The Unexpected

Cassidy sighed, putting my phone in the center console. “Look, it’s really sweet you want to protect him. But the kid has to learn sooner or later that his actions and inactions have consequences.” I sighed, slowing down as I tried to find a parking spot at UMass. “The real world is only a few years away. And hanging out with and siding with people like Brant Jones will get him in trouble. Because when push comes to shove, Brant will use him as a scapegoat leaving your brother to face consequences that might not even be his own.” I pointed out as I parked.

I loved Cassidy from the Princes of Ravenswood and was so happy that she got her own story. I expected everything to be sassy and quick witted. what was completely unexpected was how much love there is around her, from her mums to her brother (eventually) and Collin to be so patient and accepting.

Ahh another great story by Bryant!! Collin and Cassidy are such an adorable couple! Despite the traumatic experience, it goes to show how one is not defined by one's scars, and oh to be loved, cared for, and to be seen by a Collin Oscar Cole, I am so in love with your fictional men, seriously!!

Unexpected Future

Unexpected Future

No wonder he is angry, even though he is not getting injustice by getting removed from his place. “Done!” I mumbled sighing and glanced up only to see his surprised look. “No changes?” he asked and I shook my head. The meeting ended with that and they all left while I collected the book I brought to note thinking something amazing is going to happen and I am going to learn something but here just learned pre-nup is more important than marriage. “What if I don’t give you even a single penny?” the question startled me because I thought I was alone. I cleared my throat and said, “I just saw how much I earned this month and I hope there will be many months like this, by which I will not need any
