Noah frowned and retorted, "After everything you've experienced, you still don't believe in the supernatural?"

"What's wrong?" I asked, frowning slightly.
He chose his words carefully as he said, "After you told me about Ramona, I asked a friend to keep an eye on the cafeteria owner."
"And?"
"He's dead," Noah said flatly. "Before he died, he claimed to have seen his mother, who used to run the cafeteria years ago."
