After a moment, he looked up. “It’s not just cargo markings,” he said. “It’s a reference. A location.” “Where?” I asked, already suspecting the answer. “The Faroe Islands,” he said. “Specifically, Sørvágsvatn. The ‘lake above the ocean.’” My eyes narrowed. Sørvágsvatn. It was remote. Wild. And now… our next destination. But I felt so alone. Everything felt hollow without Valentina. How could I continue this quest without her?

Cadence had a feeling she already knew at least one of them. “The Colosseum, Stonehenge, and this place in Iceland called Latrabjerg, or Bird-cliff. She said she wasn’t as sure about the last one because it basically just said ‘steep, steep cliffs,’ but the other two she said she had no doubt about.” “So we think the reason Holland’s plane went to Rome was because it was one of their three choices?” Cadence clarified. “Yeah, I think she’s grasping at straws. I bet she already has a contact near Stonehenge she can send in without having to travel there.”

My voice shook with emotions, and cracked at times as I fought against the tears. “You are my best friend, my lover, and my soulmate. I love you more than words can say, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I promise to always be there for you, to love you unconditionally, and to always put you first. You are my everything, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. I love you always and forever, my viking.”

Naraja: “ My bad, my bad, but no seriously where the hell are we, heh…?” Naraja gave Isilia a half-assed apology with a silly grin on his face which in return made Isilia start stomping her left-foot into the floor beneath her out of anger whilst yelling “Rude! Just Rude!”. After that Isilia stopped her assault of anger towards the floor and pointed towards the tree that was behind Naraja and had said… Isilia: “That tree-cave behind y’a is what’s called “The Tree Of Beginnings” and the place that we are heading to in front of us is called “The Hallway Of Memories” which is where we will find the “Red Book Of Memories”. ”

But it still shakes my unstable heart, almost pushing me to defend Ethan. “Just had a long morning trying to prepare for visiting my mother.” Johan hesitated before nodding in agreement. “I’ve got water in case you are thirsty.” And so I was. “Thanks,” I muttered before grabbing the bottle of water to drink. Johan stretched his hands, tuning in to a music station. The first music to play was so familiar that I just couldn't remember where I had heard it from. But that aside, my vision was beginning to blur. Though I managed to notice Johan was taking the wrong.

They knew only that she delivered, and that her price was absolute discretion. Her personal comm, a heavily modified slab of black crystal, chimed with a unique, soft tone. Not a client. This was a different channel, one tied to the few legitimate fronts she maintained. She was, on paper, a freelance data archaeologist and systems consultant. She swiped the message open. It wasn’t text. It was an immersive sigil, a shifting, three-dimensional emblem of a stylized Valkyrie helmet superimposed over a spinning galaxy. VALHALLA ENTERTAINMENTS: INVITATION TO PARADIGM

"Look, I have become a bergresar." Jarnja chuckled. "You are the farthest thing from a troll as Loki is from common sense, my little snowflower." I settled into the warmth of her lap and squeezed shut my eyes as the fossegrim fiddled on. "Tell me, Jarnja, do you think Valhalla awaits you, Helheim, Folkvangr, or yet another Aesir or Vanir hall when you die?"

Children's voices answered them from the deep darkness of the well. Ragnar and Lathgertha then began to search for a way to bring the children up from this gaping hole. While they were busy looking everywhere for tools or items that could help, Ragnar continuing to ask questions, learned from Lathgertha that she had been in Jötunheimar for almost twelve moons already.
