Chaos was confused, he couldn't understand anything he was talking about. However, a sudden glimpse of information rushed into his mind, as the memories he was having a hard time assimilating helped him understand what these things were. Vampires were a race of supernatural Undead, the strongest of them all, they possessed endless lifespan and insane regeneration abilities, amazing talent with magic, superhuman strength, powerful magic eyes, and many other powers.

"Your grandmother was a fool to leave you this place. But you, you are the key. The last Roth. The heir to this... legacy." Alya’s mind reeled. She couldn’t breathe. Her grandmother—she remembered the stories, the warnings about her family’s mysterious past. But ghosts? Vampires? None of it had ever seemed real until now. "What do you want from me?" she asked, her grip tightening on the chair leg, the only thing that made her feel like she had some control over this situation. The vampire’s gaze flickered to her hand, and Alya’s pulse skipped when she realized the ring was still on her finger. The runes had changed since she’d put it on, the faint silver glow now pulsing rhythmically, as if

I turned back to her with a frown. “What do you mean it confused you? What was written about me?” I questioned. “There were more than one outcomes,” she said. “You have the power to choose your own outcome and how you want things to end for you. Look into the water again. I looked down, and I gasped when I saw bodies laying on the ground with blood everywhere. However, the biggest surprise came 3 weeks after we returned from the AshMane Kingdom and Elizabeth informed me that she was pregnant with not one or two but three Vampups, 2 sons and a daughter. First came Timothy. He is a Pureblood Royal Alpha Wolf/Lycan. He was quickly followed by Joel. He is the first Pureblood Royal Dragon since his grandfather and last was our little ray of trouble moonlight, Lexie. Lexie is a PureBlood Royal Vampire. Lexie was no real surprise as a Vampire is with us as soon as we are born, there is no age of maturity in the sense of getting our Vampire. A Vampire’s coming of age is when their gifts show themselves, as mine did when I was young. Lexie is going to be o

It wasn’t uncommon for vampire hierarchy to have affairs with their pets, and it seemed like Ellise despised me because of it. But, at the end of the day, Ellise would be the one to carry his heir. She bore the genetics he desired, not me. Ellise would feel his gentle touches in public. Ellise would watch their children grow up. She would grow up with him, creating family memories, and my destiny was to sit on the sidelines and watch their happiness unfold while I remained bitter and alone, only useful because of what rested between my legs.

It was a heavy volume bound in deep scarlet leather. The title, written in gold, was “A Brief History of the Nocturne Territories and the Valerius Dynasty”. The subtitle was “Vampires and humans”. “Not taken from you. Not now. But bound to the Vampire Crown by blood and oath.” I stared at them for quite a while, then I laughed hard! “That’s not possible,” I said. “Vampires don’t...” “Don’t reproduce that way,” Light finished. “No. But succession for them isn’t only blood. It’s legacy. Continuance. Power.” Understanding bloomed slowly, and terribly at that. “He thinks my child will be something new,” I whispered. “Yes,” Adam replied. “A bridge. Spring-born. That I’ve been thrown into a freezing river and I’m so far under the water I’ll never get back up. “The Werewolf gene is passed through the male line.” Cain explains. “Every male Wolf will produce pups because their genes are dominant. That’s why you’re not a Wolf because a female Wolf cannot produce pups with a male human partner. But with Sullivan blood, if you have offspring with a Wolf, they’ll not only be Wolves, they’ll be Lycans. Original Wolves.” I shake my head, shutting my eyes, burying them in my palms. “I can’t have children.”
