After drinking, I got my cloak and flew out of the castle, to see my former town.

His sarcastic tone could be worse than anything else. She ignored it and responded, "Vampires don't sleep." The laughter from his forum echoed in his conscience. Hell, what a big lie. Didn't it occur to you to tell him that it's because you like the darkness too? You're so... bad at this, seriously."

Ike told me about the origin of the killing night. So, it was Noah’s night to kill, but he didn't go anywhere, just locked himself in his study. "So can you tell me what's different about my blood?" Ike continued. "What substance?" I was guessing that substance might be good for vampires. And I gawked at her, still unable to decipher why she was so excited and to her contrary, I appeared tense and a bizarre sensation swirling around my belly.

I could hear my bones snap and rearrange in place, my eyes already glowing it's usual fiery red. "Kaden," I heard Ava's soft voice call from beside me. "Don't worry Sinclair, none of these bastards are going to lay a finger on you. I'll protect you!"
