I awake in the middle of the night. I cannot sleep. Draco is lying in the bed beside me and sleeping so sound. I have not seen him sleep this sound in a very long time. He deserves the sleep. Even though they are no longer human, Vampires still need sleep occasionally. It is a myth that they do not sleep. They do not need as much sleep as humans or hybrids, but they do not need some sleep here and there. Draco has always cuddled me at night, even if he does not sleep, but seeing him sleep so peacefully gives me a lot of comfort.
