Hearing about my mother was already a lot but now it sounded like she caused all this. “Because Lilith already had two mates and then she took a mage as a third,” Ingrid said. “Denraider hates witches even those not in a coven.” I gasped. “Three mates?” For a moment, I remembered someone from Snow Moon kissing three wolves during that last mission with Howling Evergreen. Ingrid nodded. “Your mother and your uncle were different. When they shifted, their eyes didn’t turn golden. They stayed light blue just like yours.” My stomach tightened.

Saratan’s P.O.V "I own you, little vessel." His breath was icy against my neck as he leaned in, “Every drop of the blood thrumming through your veins belongs to me… and when you bore me, I’ll drain and stuff you." My pulse thudded erratically and I couldn't help the helpless tears that slid from my eyes, "P-please, don't kill me, I don’t want to be a blood vessel…" I whimpered, feeling my bladder give up on me and wetness flooded my thighs.

The wounds on his body were badly mangled, and it truly was a gruesome sight, just as Johnny had warned. Of course, it was easy enough to deduce what had happened, seeing as he had a childhood friend who specialized in special effects makeup—Lorraine Turner. That woman was also the one Louis had held in his arms in my past life! The two of them were the ones who had eloped after clearing out all of the company funds and were the ones behind my untimely death. "You! Absolute! Scum!" With each word, I slapped Louis' face as hard as I could.

The face is familiar… But it’s not my face. It’s the face of Nora Moonblood, Luna of the Moonblood pack. Her beauty is ethereal, with high cheekbones, piercing silver eyes, and cascading silver hair that shimmers in the light. My hands tremble as I touch my reflection, the cool glass grounding me in a reality I can’t comprehend. The memories of my death flood back—Cain’s betrayal, Claire’s cruelty, the loss of my pup. My knees buckle, but I catch myself on the edge of the mirror. The pups' voices call out behind me, their worry evident, but I can’t turn around.

The ground began to quake beneath me, causing the rogue to release its hold on my arm. I could vaguely hear the rogues around me shouting and screaming as my body began to tremble in rhythm to the ground. Told you it was going to end. My Siren whispered. I had no idea what she was talking about until I opened my eyes since I had clenched them shut after the rogue bit me. I was surrounded by that blue glow like what happened when the rogues attacked during my shifting ceremony. Well, this was going to be fun. My screaming continued and I could feel my throat going raw, and I knew that my already injured vocal cords will never be the same after this.

"Let's give it up... to the Herald of Dexo Fernia, the shadow assassin! The daughter of Hikaris himself… VERONICA!" Chest out, shoulders back, I walked out of the dark and turned my gaze to every corner of the coliseum, and with a devilish grin on my lips, I raised my weapon and they screamed my name… just how I want them to. "And her challenger..." the announcer paused for a while, I crossed my arms and everyone went silent, patiently waiting until, "another daughter of Hikaris, the Mistress of Dexo Fernia, Elspeth!"

He enlightened her. "Breed? There are breeds? Aren't you all the same?" Adrianna was dumbfounded to know that vampires have different breeds. He got up and went to grab a book from his shelves, and hand a heavy book to Adrianna. "This will help you because I am not good at explaining things and facts." Said Alaric. Her palms touched the cover of the book which looked antique and royal. She read the title 'Vamoose', called Vampire in latin. "You didn't tell me you have kids." Alaric asked her.

Dell was focused on Anastasia, sending his aura to guide her back to that Victorian contraption. I reeled my thoughts back to the man. Flashing him a vicious grin, my fangs unsheathed. He trembled, gods I love the smell of a fearful rat. I tightened the grip on his mouth, whispering the incantation until his body lit up like the fourth July fire works. Symbols wrote themselves all over his face, and my wrist burned. Another ink appeared as the man faded into a dust of black smoke. I watched the light as it rolled out of his eyes.

PROLOGUE "Red is always symbolizing love. But for Rose it had never been love. It was blood. Even her name has red on it. Blood that she hates. If she has the time to turn things back on, she will never ever tie herself to the man that she once loved. "

The long black blade katana reflects the light of the silver moon shone over the open window. A teenage girl in a dark thick cloak, face covered in a black metal mask, and obsidian eyes were ghastly gleaming while staring down at the body of the married couple bathed in their own blood. The fresh red bodily fluid was drastically spurting out on their throat and sliced body.
