A Contract With My Demon

A Contract With My Demon

She roared with the effort, her form flickering wildly between girl and shadow. Clack. The drawer pulled open. Inside was a single, yellowed folder labeled: VANCE – TOTAL FORFEITURE. Elara grabbed it. The paper felt solid, heavy, and real. As she opened it, a gust of cold wind swept through the office, knocking books off the shelves. Inside the folder was the original contract. But the ink was moving. The words were rewriting themselves in real-time. “The Sacrifice is rejected. The Debt is transferred to the blood of the father.”

The Villainous Emperor is My Pet?

The Villainous Emperor is My Pet?

I noticed that he was holding the hilt of his sword again. “Truth and dare.” I clasped my hands together. “I vow to speak only the truth for all the questions that you ask me or any daring action that you want me to do if we play this game. You can make me do anything.” And I could make him do anything too. “Really?” He didn’t believe me for sure. There were deep lines of doubts on his forehead. “You might make me kill Viessa.” “I vow that I won’t ask you to harm anyone including yourself,” I added. Vows were taken seriously here. They were supposed to be binding. “I vow to not harm anyone either, including Viessa, you, and I.”

Vows of Enmity

He felt the weight of it—the evidence, the betrayal, the undeniable truth. Beside him, Gregory Bellweather leaned back in his chair, tapping a silver pen rhythmically against the mahogany table, keeping his eyes locked on Adrian with a silent, taunting challenge. Arthur Wexford raised a silver fountain pen, poised to sign the preliminary binding agreement that would merge their empires and permanently seal the fate of every person in the room. He looked around the table, his eyes gleaming with corporate triumph. "All in favor of ratifying the merger terms as stated?"

Vows Written In Poison

Vows Written In Poison

On the night of their fourth wedding anniversary, Raymond Whitmore stood on a Boston stage and unveiled a perfume called Eternal Claire, dedicating it to the woman he swore he would love until his last breath. The world called it the most romantic gesture of the year. Claire called it a cage with a golden lid. Because thirty minutes later, a stranger sent her a video of that same perfume being poured over another woman's naked chest, in a suite two floors below the ballroom, by her husband's very hands. For four years, Claire had traded her PhD, her name, and her silence for a marriage the tabloids envied. In return, she got a mother-in-law who called her barren, a husband who called h

TIED BY CONTRACT

TIED BY CONTRACT

That should have comforted me, but it didn't. Because I knew what kind of man he was. Ruthless. Strategic. And Dangerous. And I had deceived him. The vows came next. I repeated them with a voice that sounded steady, exactly like Rhea sounds, even though my stomach was coiled tight. Nikolai's vow were short and cold, delivered like he was reading terms and conditions of a contract. His voice was smooth, low, and terrifying in its restraint. Then came the moment I've been dreading the most.

The True Luna's Mark

The True Luna's Mark

I moved off the bench and knelt on the ground to force him to look at me. He stared at me with an intensity that made it feel as if goosebumps were forming over my skin. I wasn’t sure if they were good or bad or if it was simply because I was eager to know. Finally, he sighed, and I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth and waited for him to say something. “I was sworn to secrecy, and if he finds out I let it slip, it could get me in a lot of trouble.” “I vow on the Goddess that I will not tell him you told me anything!” Even if I wasn’t a werewolf, I shouldn’t have vowed upon the Goddesses name, as I was now bound by the Vow.

I am so in love with this book! The story is very well written and the characters are highly developed. What I have been enjoying the most about this story, is for everything that is happened Stormie, she still continues to survive, grow, be independent, finds her weaknesses and strengthens them.

MATES: REMNANTS OF A BETRAYED BOND

MATES: REMNANTS OF A BETRAYED BOND

I felt like I needed it right now. Finally, my nerves calmed to normal. I offered him a nervous smile, and he responded with a flirty eyebrow raise. “Misunderstandings, um, Alpha, they are at the very base of all deception. No deceiver can be queen,” Elder Sybil added in a measured tone, setting her palms flat on the table. “The red wolf…” Elder Victor raised, shifting in his chair. “She is th…” Connery cut in adamantly, rising from his chair. “I am,” I stopped Connery, glaring at him. I lifted my chin a fraction, and then I swayed my gaze at Victor and corrected, “I was.”

Bound to the Rogue Alpha 2

my voice murmured, dropping into a low, defeated register. My intellect recognized instantly that her tracking had unraveled the strategic deception in its entirety. My muscles offered zero physical resistance against her leverage, my eyes lifting to lock onto her gaze with absolute sincerity before my lids dropped, a low mumble escaping my teeth. “The fabrication was deployed exclusively because my inner wolf extracted an immense joy from your presence, desiring nothing short of extending your cycle within my perimeter…” My frame was still clad exclusively in my resting skins. My hair drifted in a highly disheveled, uncombed mass across my brow, a presentation that painted my dominant alpha

Vows of sin

“And I’m not the one who razed a fortress to claim a woman who stopped being his the second he turned her into a target.” Alessia saw the flinch ripple across Dante’s face. “You don’t know anything about us,” he said coldly. The woman smiled thinly. “I know she loved you. And you used that to break her.” Alessia stepped between them. “Enough.” Dante lowered his gun—slightly. “Alessia, we don’t have time for riddles. That vault isn’t just a myth. It holds the contracts. The original blood oath between our families.”

Vows With Conditions

I lost the illusion that I could control the terms of my own suffering. And from that moment forward, my vow became real. Not to him. But to myself. I would never let this be my ending.
