-RAINA’S POV- In a blink, whatever I thought I had seen had disappeared. Was I mistaken? Was my paranoia making me see things? A sudden jab in my rib from Venus’ elbow snapped me out of my haunting thoughts. Drawing her brows together, she asked, “Are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” “Yeah.” My voice cracked slightly. I forced a half smile. I was good for now. -RAINA'S POV- Rough hands from the murky shadow clamped on my tender shoulders. “Eeek!” I shrieked, freaking out and wrestling against the unidentified man who tugged me into a wall of compact muscles.
