The cat growled and lunged at him again, teeth bared, but the warrior stepped aside with fluid precision. “Woah! I think that cat’s overdue for a nap.” He said with a chuckle, glancing towards Lyra and motioning to the attacking animal. The wild cat flailed, its sharp teeth gnashing at his wrist, but he didn’t flinch. With a grunt, he swung the creature to the side with a force that sent it tumbling into the wet grass. The wild cat’s body flickered like a mirage for a moment, but it recovered quickly, spinning around and launching itself at the warrior once more, its body a blur of twisted motion.

Kate's P.O.V. As I pressed my hand on that warrior’s skin, darkness swallowed me whole. The cold hospital room vanished, replaced by a battlefield drenched in blood. The injured warrior staggered across the ruined courtyard, every breath sounding like broken glass scraping his lungs. His wolf growled fiercely as three rogues surrounded him, attacking at once. Despite his injuries, the warrior refused to retreat. He fought like a man protecting something far more valuable than his own life. Claws collided, and growls shook the air as he managed to throw one rogue into a wall before another ripped across his shoulder.

The pen had stopped moving and she was in the Destiny Land looking at the new word formed in the manuscript, Shala in the Human World looking at the sky with his gaze traveling into fairy Land, and Ginevra in Morvin Hills looking at her hands absorbing remaining water drops …all said in unison, “WAR.” Announcement-: Dear readers, I am very happy with the love you are giving my book. We head back towards the house and he bumps into my leg repeatedly, trying to get me to turn around. "Stop trying to herd me. I'm not a sheep." I tell him firmly, tossing him a treat as I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth before bed. I lay down, thinking about the book as I stare at my ceiling. Basil jumps on the bed, spinning a few times before he lays down next to me. I run my fingers through his fur absentmindedly, my brain refusing to stop spinning as I think about the first few pages of the book. It started out with the beginning stages of a war, the main character building an army of werewolves to defeat their arch nemesis.

I could feel my blood boiling just below the surface, the irrational irritation flaring up once again. I reached for Lamia, pulling her towards me, and bent to inhale her scent, drowning out the rest of the scents in the room. It helped to calm me some, but Arcas was still pounding his paws in my head, not liking how so many males were around his mate. “First order of business,” King Alexander began, “Cambiador, the were-cat kingdom, was attacked last night.” “WHAT? Oh, my goddess! Where is Tawny?” My little wolf gasped out, breaking from my hold.

My wolf howled inside me, fire coursing through my veins. I shifted partially claws, sharper senses, speed but not fully. I couldn’t risk losing control near the palace. The figure came at me again, faster. I ducked and slashed with my claws, sparks flying when they met a shimmering barrier around its body. “You can’t win,” it hissed. “The book belongs to the king. To take it is death.” “Then I guess I’m already dead,” I spat, lunging forward.

I asked him gently, and he nodded. "After the first two big bangs, the warriors came, but I saw the men they smelt different, so I knew they weren't pack." he explained as I nodded, encouraging him to continue. "They came from their and moved toward the Palace side gate. I had to follow them." he told me. "My Mama is an omega I had to protect her, so I snuck by them in the bushes to stop them going into the Palace kitchen, but they stopped by the side. I could hear them talking about someone in the cells, but my wolf couldn't hear everything he isnt that strong yet. we are only a pup still. I stayed hidden but then there was another bang and my ears went funny. I did my best, Princess, but I

When we weren't training, she made us spend all our time in the library. “Is it wrong to read those books?” I asked. “No. It's never wrong to read, sister.” She cupped my cheeks softly. “But the power in reading is knowing which information you can weaponize and which one to ignore. The lies in books are just as much as the truth.” I nodded, already committing her words to memory. She sighed and drew closer to me. “Remember this, Eloise. No one out there is your friend.
