Usually, I didn’t give a fúck about image but Taylor was probably the only person in my life who didn’t know the kind of man I was and I wanted to keep it that way — to remain her Uncle Gavi who could do no wrong.
I unzipped Taylor’s backpack and pulled out her tablet and headphones, switching both devices on.
“It’s Bluey!” she corrected, a little too happy to know something I didn’t.
“All the same,” I said, placing the headphones securely over her ears and handing the tablet with a blue dog talking on the screen to her.
When Taylor was successfully locked away in her own world, I turned to Sienna.
“Maybe you shouldn’t do things you’d be ashamed of your family knowing,” she scoffed.
